I actually found this true. My best friends and I always tease each other and push each other (not hard) a few of these things on this video I find can be true in different friendships (keep in mind a few not all) I find a toxic friend is someone who lies to your face if you ask how you look, and let you be honest back to them and never get offended. Or maybe it’s wrong to let a person behind a voice tell you what is right and what isn’t. Nathan or maybe the differences between the two are stated quite simply, clearly, and honestly. Having food on ones face is NO where near the example used in the video. Thats a reach. This video can give most people the chance to have an open conversation with themselves and their possible toxic friend. The only concern is that impressionable people (mainly teens, probably the adjective you meant to use) not “weak” people may using this video as an excuse to disregard a misunderstood friend(though honestly, if they cause more trauma and drama in your life than necessary, then you need to cut the chord).

Ok honestly I see all these comments about how u realized some of ur friends are toxic and this is what I have to say to u: if ur friend only exhibits one or possibly two of these qualities, then don't start something. I'm not sure what this video was meant to do, but I feel like it may send a message of idealism in friends that honestly nobody can live up to. These aren't friends that u described, they are yes men/women. Ur friend will do what's best for u, even if it means not being very nice. They want the best for you, and it'll be easy to tell these friends from the jealous buttwipes who insult everything u do. I have a HUGE temper, but my friends accept me because I'm working on it and they have flaws too. Nobody is perfect, and though if ur friend has a lot of these qualities u should just stop and think, the idealistic and yes-man/woman image portrayed in this video isn't very realistic. I promise you, I'm not hating. I personally think that this video will help people.... but I really don't like the image that they're painting of a good friend.

I feel the losing temper easily one has more to do with someone's personality than them being a toxic friend. Who wouldn't want to be the type of person to just laugh off a stressful situation? My Dad lived in a 4 story block of flats on the top story, as the removal company was taking his stuff away, they were putting some of the big stuff on his landing and blocking the other tenant's doors. only temporary for 10 minutes, as my dad had died not for long you can imagine how I was feeling to see his stuff going. well one of his neighbours had came in and started to bawling me out, as to the stuff on the landing, my 1st instinct was to deck him as I was not up to being civil because of what I was dealing with I kept my cool and ignored him. I am waiting for my dads home to be sold and I make a point not to communicate with his neighbour on purpose

I think one would only consider criticism to be a trait of a toxic friend if the person receiving the criticism was extremely insecure. i found that i trust people who said my weakness in front of me more that people who only said flattery on my face, because that means that those people are truthful. well, not always, that's depends with how they said it. I also feel more comfortable with people who can take my critism positively.
