I've watched a lot of ProMaster videos and thought I saw everything there was to see. But you revealed some interesting secrets no one else ever touched upon. The issue with cargo lights was one. I test drove a PM last week and nobody at the dealership could figure out why they didn't come one when the door was opened. Now I know why! DUH! The door lock info will be very helpful as well and your tip concerning the shifter was certainly interesting. Overall a very informative video. Thanks for posting it!

Under the steering wheel and to the right is a usb port. If you load a thumb drive with MP3s, you can stick it there and listen to them.

Great one! I should have mentioned that!

You forgot one, if you push in on the defrost button on the very right hand side of the air conditioning and heating it turns the defrost on the mirrors outside. also the Review mirroralso doubles as a regular mirror. off you hold in on the button for the mirror it will let you tilt pan and brighten the rear view mirror

The USB port beside the steering wheel down by the very bottom stays on continuously it's hooked straight to the battery the one with the USB port beside it over by the passenger side does not stay on continuously

You should learn to use the paddle shift, try moving into it when you want to stop and cycling down. It will surprise you how much extra pressure the automatic puts on your brakes.

Looking at a leftover 2018 or ordering a 2019 Promaster as a private vehicle not business use. Getting instead of a pickup truck as it will be better on roadtrips having all that space inside. You noticing any reliability issues driving those oversized boxes around day after day? Thanks for the video I've only looked at one so far and you knew more than the dealer lol.

The only things I have noticed that need repairs or replacement so far are electronic/electrical. Usb ports, flickering lights in the cargo area, bad motion sensors, led bars dying, etc. I don't think I have seen any of or promasters in the shop for engine/transmission problems. I have been at this station for 2 years so I don't have a ton of knowledge. I have only been driving promasters for several months.

@@DouglasThompson - Cool thanks for the really quick reply! I like these better than the Transit or the NV's because of how low the step in height is and that FWD layout, glad to hear your mostly seeing quirks rather than big issues.

My entire office is all curb side delivery. We only still use the LLV's and FFV's. What kind of delivery would you use a pro master for? Walking routes?
@DouglasThompson6 жыл бұрын
Correct, walking routes and cbu/buisness routes.

ah ok :) thanks for responding. All of those little tips believe it or not makes a difference. It took me like 3 years before I realized you could twist the headlight nob in an LLV to turn off that annoying buzz sound when the lights were on but you turn off the engine while the keys are still in the ignition. I thought all you could do was pull it in and out.
