Twist on the enchiladas, instead of using ham, use chicken and stuff with sauted peppers, onions, mushrooms, add monterey jack. top the same. if you want more protein, add chicken to the sauted vegs. yummm

I currently have only watched the Easy Chicken Casserole. Why did you use butter as your only fat/oil for a medium to high heat cooking? The smoke point of butter is 302 and some say as low as 250. I would use avocado oil plus butter for flavor and heat protection of the oil.
@RuledMe3 жыл бұрын
Feel free to use avocado oil if you prefer. When you have food in the pan as well, the smoke point likely won't be reached that easily as the heat will dissipate as moisture is being released from the chicken. The chicken fat will also mix with the butter and change the smoke point of the fats.

@RuledMeАй бұрын
Generally they aren't. I suppose it depends on the brand you buy but you can usually find them without added sugar. They are higher in carbs, but when used in moderation they can still fit into keto. Since they are concentrated flavor, a little goes a long way.

Hi. I wanted to ask: I subscribed to your custom meal app, are there all the recipes that there are on youtube, i didn't find them and really loved some of those on youtube?
@RuledMe3 жыл бұрын
Yes, all of the recipes from KZbin, the website, and around 600 more are inside of the meal planner. The meal planner scales meals to fit your specific set of macros, though, and if a meal can't fit into your macros then it won't be shown to you. In your case, the meal you want either can't fit into your needed macros for that meal or your preferences are blocking it from being displayed (for example if you have time limits selected).

Is soy sauce a keto ingredient because it is made of soy beans and it is inflammatory? Should it be coco aminos right?
@RuledMe3 жыл бұрын
Soy is low-carb so can be eaten within ketogenic limitations. If you avoid soy for personal reasons, you're welcome to use coconut aminos instead. Including a small amount of soy in your diet is likely not going to have any long-term negative effects, so I don't consider it something you need to avoid.
@jennifersmith23033 жыл бұрын

I always recommend reheating in the oven, but they will do okay in the microwave, too. Some of them I'd personally eat cold, but if reheating in the microwave I'd suggest doing double the time you usually would but with half the power. It generally will reheat a bit more evenly and without that microwaved taste that can sometimes happen.

Not sure what you have a problem with there? If you don't want to use soy sauce, use coconut aminos. If you don't want to use sesame oil, use avocado oil? If you like the look of a recipe and don't like 1 singular ingredient, it's not that hard to think of a replacement. Though not exactly sure why you'd be avoiding tiny amounts of soy sauce or sesame oil to begin with.
