My family knows I love English, so I am free to practice any time and any place in the house. As I work I listen to English songs, I write in English, I speak to the mirror and even sometimes I dream in English. I usually dream I am studying at the Institute and suddenly the teacher says students today you will take an exam and I say to myself "I haven't studied at all" hahaha. Thank you so much, Mike. I am a local English teacher. This is a wonderful video by a native speaker of English teacher. I must admit, I don't always respect native speakers of English who come to my country to work as English teachers because I see them as being only fluent in speaking English but do not know how to teach English, and even worse, they can be so arrogant and think that they are always much better than all local English teachers. But I see that you are different. You are a realistic and excellent English teacher. What you have said in this video is basically everything I myself had done in my English learning process many years ago when I was still in school. And up to now, as a local English teacher, even before I watch your video, but I have always shared my own English learning experience with my students and told them to do the same, which are mostly things you have said in this video. 10 Ways to practice speaking English 1. Speak to your mirror every morning about what you are going to do and how you feel. 2. Speak to your mirror in the evening about what you did and how you felt. 3. Speak to yourself all day every day about what you are doing, what you need to do, how you feel, etc. 4. Speak to your children/pets/plants. 5. Start a club with your friends where you only speak English. 6. Repeat after me when you watch my videos. 7. Repeat after the people on TV when you watch TV. 8. Make flashcards with full sentences and practice reading them out loud (speak the words) every day. 9. Read out loud (speak the words) when you are reading. Read the same thing again and again so that you are more confident each time you say it. 10. Sing English songs. Also, it doesn't matter whether or not your speaking partners are native English speakers. You practice speaking to improve your ability to produce language and become more confident. You are right! Practicing speaking more Nd more improve our english quickly, but I have no one in my surroundings not many people speaks English in our working area Therefore, doing it all alone it's make me feel bored. And that result! whenever I watch any video like this one I do my speaking practice without skipping a single day for almost one week Moreover,could see the improvement. But as I'm so leasy can't do practice alone 😢. Still I make video's of. Well, I check my pronunciation by speaking to Google Translate. If it can detect words, and sentences I say correctly that means my pronunciation is reasonably clear. I highly suggest anyone who's struggling to learn English using GG Translate. If an A.I. can understand you that should indicate that human beings can as well.
