Thanks for the good news on BÖC! The Symbol remains one of the best of the century, even on more commercial leaning tracks, like the impeccable ''Florida man'', which should have been a radio hit in the old days.

Totally amazing you were able to speak with UFO's bass player! Pat Travers album cover would make for a great rawk shirt. There are a few fantastic songs on Molly Hatchet's Justice. Good enough to have fit in on their best albums.

I would have loved to have seen Purple do the whole Machine Head album with the original band or with Morse playing in Blackmore's place. I only saw them live once. That was on the 1984 Perfect Strangers Tour at the Providence Civic Center. We were sitting almost directly across from the stage in almost the very last row of the Civic Center. We grabbed the tickets at the window that night. We thought that we had a shot for seats up front. But they had just sold them. So we took anything that we could get with six seats in a row. Anyways. They were frigging great. But the volume was deafening. Now I saw some very loud bands Scotty. Not to boast. But Zeppelin was extremely loud. We sat way up in the greens {performance 3 of 6} on the first night. On the side a little lower in the yellows for the second time {show 5} and twenty rows dead center for the third time performance six of six. Now Zeppelin was really loud. But impeccably clear. Their sound system/PA was one of the best I had heard in the seventies. You could hear everyone's instruments clearly and also Robert Plant's vocals. For the Purple show I did not know what song they were playing until about a minute or more into each one. It was loud and muddy. Plus my ears were ringing for about twelve hours after the show. Shortly after that show I started to wear earplugs. The year that you saw them at the Spectrum in Philly. Was Blackmore playing with them? Still amazed that BOC is still releasing new material. That is great news. I think only Eric and Buck are the only two original members. I was just going to ask you about Foghat's band members. Only Earl on drums? Good to hear that they have a good crew of musicians playing with them. They were an amazing live band back in the day. Do you agree? Thanks Scotty. This was dynamite~ Rob/Boston

Ah, Foghat was Lonesome Dave and Rod Price as the dynamic duo. Saw them 25+ times in the 70'sand their reformation in the 90's. Now they're only a tribute band, like unfortunately a lot of the 70's bands still using name only with one or no original members left.

I need to get the new Trower and UFO records, and didn't know Pat Travers was still putting out albums. Agree 120% on the other albums you showed. The only thing I would change is I would have selected Detroit Stories...it's such an amazing album, my favorite thing he's released since the 70s. I would have probably listed the Scorpions as well. I like their most recent albums more and more every time I hear it.

Lots of great bands there brother! Love Priest and still collecting everything they put out, still need to pick up their new album but I’ll get there soon! Alice Copper has always been one of my go to bands/ solo artist when I’m in the mood for some good old school rock and roll! Great video as always buddy, take care! ~ Jeff

Good call on UFO. Mogg is a killer songwriter. When he hits. Saw em with Vinny live. They killed. All thier stuff with or without Schenker has gems 15:19

Thank for throwing in the Molly Hatchet albums. I think Phil did a great job when Danny Joe couldn't do it anymore. And the shows from the late 90s into the early OOs were top notch.
