I was given a behringer delay on my 16th birthday. It is an amazing delay pedal.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The US page didn't work well for me so I got mine at Amazon. As always, I appreciate the work you put into product demos.

Nice video! I love Sleepless of King Crimson. The delay isn't obvious, but it's used in a tricky way.

Aww shux. Great video again Paul!!!Imma say the bass player on Todd Rundgren’s Song is probably Todd. Saw him take a turn on bass in Utopia, amazing band.He often played all the instruments himself., self produced etc.Just an educated guess tho. And where that most famous delayed bass OF ALL TIME? Still lookin for that……blue. Jean. Baby Queen. Prettiest girl I ever seen. See her shake on the movie screen. Jimmy Dean( James Dean)….. hoodat???? Edit. The artist is David Essex and the song is Rock On.If you have never heard this sexy trippy wonder then ffs you owe it to you to check it out. Probably an Echoplex. The string arrangements are FIRE.

Some great choices there - everything from the pop of Duran Duran to the prog of Tool! Was hoping you'd tackle the bass to Psychonaut by Fields of the Nephilim though, as that has a great delay effect (I think it's a dotted eight note repeat).

Really great to find your video. Thanks. Just bought the same Echo Square delay. Quite surprised at the sound and build quality for such an inexpensive pedal.

Hey Paul, thanks for helping get started on Bass in 2022. All the best for you in the New Year. I’ve been recently looping that Bass line for One Of These Days and learning slide parts on my six string electric. I just recently put together a Baritone six string and will see about using that with a looper to see how that works out for all parts of that, maybe even tune it differently as well to get more of a Bass / Guitar split.

Like anything else it has it's place and time, just not everyplace all the time. If n it serves the song well though it can sound really good.

Awesome song, but the intro is tremolo on bass. A good example from them using delay on bass is All I Know.
