If you love to own single player games, I suggest playing Spider-man on it's SPECTACULAR setting. When you unlock ULTIMATE, switch to it, and then complete all sides. (Gadget upgrades, suits, attributes, spider bots, optional quests) They did this game EXCELLENTLY. Played through it with only one program glitch occurrence (swung into a building not coded to be entered and could not exit. Reset, and continue). 10/10 Recommended.

Ghost of Tsushima might just be one of the best games I've ever played. It's stunning. The story is great. The gameplay is amazing. It's up there in my top three with the legend of Zelda breath of the wild and ocarina of time but I have to admit Hogwarts legacy is right up there too. I could put them 1a-1b-1c . Good review!

As always, great list. I still may not have a PS5 (seeing as how most games come to PC eventually), but I do have a PS5 controller, which I used to play Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart as intended on PC. Believe or not, you still get the haptic feed back and adpative triggers on the PC version. When I bought it on Steam, I got bonus raritanium. Honestly, and this is from me, Sony needs more multiplayer focused games too. Like remember Modnation Racers? That game was awesome. They should bring that back or at least come up with another Mario Kart clone racer...Playstation Racers maybe, a cross over where you play as your favorite Playstation characters.

I waited this long due to no money and if I waited until the PS5 Pro to release, then I would have been convinced to use that money for the kids instead of for me. Don't get me wrong, my kids come first and they want for nothing, but I rarely have $500 sitting in my wallet, and I don't make major purchases without consulting with my wife, but somehow that $500 would have left my wallet in favor of important house stuff or kids stuff and I would no longer have that money for a PS5. My only option was to use that $500 now for myself instead of losing it for other stuff.

just bought ps4 2 month ago, in my opinion FFXVI, Helldiver 2, Elden Ring, Lies of P, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Stellar Blade, and Rise of The Ronin (if you don't mind the graphic), and Dragon's Dogma 2 (just wait for cheap secondhand or digital discount like i did) are the best games for starter, and maybe (VII Remake + Rebirth bundle if you have shitload of time), Ghost of Tsushima is only a must if you never play the PS4 version, the japanese lipsync still suck, and the 60fps update is free.

My PS5 feels like a wasted investment even in June 2024. All we’ve been given is essentially remakes of old games modernized for the hardware. The only notable exception off the top of my head is Helldivers 2, which sadly just isn’t my style of game.

I like my Ps5 because it plays 155 ps4 games at 4k/60fps with the free patch . Also so many new games play on the ps5 but not on the ps4 . If you look it up 669 games play on the ps5 but not on the ps4 now . The list only gets longer.

I didn't like how easy Spiderman 2 and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart were to Platinum. The previous games had New Game+ and challenging modes with more side quests on top of it. I honestly feel they made it easier for the kids to platinum but platinum trophies aren't supposed to be easy to obtain imo lol

I only got spiderman 2 for my 5 year old nephew to explore. Got the deluxe edition on accident and couldn't get a refund. Annoying but fine. The graphics were disappointing, but I was net with further disappointment when my 5 year old nephew 100% the game and grew bored after only 25 hours of game play.

Spiderman 2, horizon and god of war Ragnarok are ruined with wokeness. Spiderman 2 literally has g@y side missions. The last of us part 1 is a masterpiece. The last of us part 2 was ruined with wokeness. So many people were returning the last of us part 2 that stores stopped accepting returns. I saw copies of the last of part 2 on Facebook marketplace the week after it released. The last of us series didn't turn a profit and they discontinued it. If you want some amazing games that aren't w0ke, get little nightmares 1&2, odd world soulstorm, Tekken 8, STRAY and stellar blade. I haven't played ghost of tsushima but ill most likely pick it up next week
