This is one of the best concise aiming advice videos I've seen in a while. Each of these tips could have its own video, but having compiled them here and within 9min, I can see a lot of players being more receptive to them.

Thanks Matty! That's high praise coming from you; I appreciate the support and the inspiration I've received from your videos. Your snowy video still may be my favourite, it's a vibe. Anyone reading this one should check out "Unraveling the secrets of Aim" on Matty's channel.

This is such a crazy video! I'm at the beginning of my aiming journey, arround 40h of kovaaks and hit VT silver at the end of last year! I've been playing fps for more than 10 years and have been in low and top ranks, but aim training feels like a completely different level of mastery. For now I'll keep clicking dots and will leave updates here!

That's awesome. Thanks for sharing your journey so far; I look forward to hearing your updates!

@@ddkesports I'll use this as aim journey progression sheet if anyone feels curious. 8 days after the main comment I hit silver complete. 9 day after (today) I hit gold. Trying to push for gold complete in the next week depending on my free time. Also even in days where I have more than 1 hour to train I'll consciously try to avoid practicing for more than 1 hour a day and just play a game instead.

This was a fantastic video I honestly spend to much time trying to learn what’s the best grip

Thank you! Same, I've spent too much time on this as well. Not to say that it's not fun to experiment, but sometimes we're looking in the wrong place for the solution.

Incredible video, Daniel Kapadia. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! With all the tips on tension management and aim training, I'm curious-how do you suggest balancing the practice of flicking and tracking to ensure both skills develop effectively without one hindering the other?
@ddkesports17 күн бұрын
I personally have done both approaches--focusing on one or two categories at a time for weeks before switching into others. I've also doing VDIM to switch it up every day across all the categories. I generally prefer mixing it up more often, but, in cases where you may really be struggling with nailing a specific fundamental, for me, it feels better to drill that until you feel more comfortable with your progress on it. Ultimately it's not a linear journey. There's a lot to be said for being able to be engaged with the training, so you have to approach it in a way that feels good, and so long as you're focused on the right things in the training, you should see progress over time.

1:24 I disagree learning does work that way because I learn so much better when I try to analyze and learn from my own mistakes. The reason people are learning on their own is that they lack the focus and discipline. If I try to listen to a lot of people then that just makes me indecisive and play terrible. I recommend to play aim trainers and find a way to put 100% focus in to the task, stay consistent, and you will see results. Another thing that really helped me was to train my subconscious to not pay attention to my crosshair on close targets just really focus on on the target whether it’s the head or chest I just try to really focus on what I want to hit and I swap my focus to the crosshair for long range enemies or targets.

Hi Daniel, great video, I have a question: do you think there is a point in using any aim training software for quake 3 (cpma)? I have returned to playing for fun after a long long breaknand have never used it, but am not sure if it makes sense, I would be greategul if you could provide your feedback and point to a specific app (and perhaps what trainings within it translate best to q3 aim), many thanks!

Hey Dan. What do you think of Cs2 DM server. Do you think it is good enough tool to aim train and warmup? Or neither

My problem is that my natural grip hurts with all mice after some minutes of playing because of excessive pressure that I apply on the mouse in fps games specially the ones that require more precision. If I just grip in a more relaxed way like I play in league of legends every mice would work for me. My problem is finding the mouse that fits my natural grip

@ specific ways to improve tracking for players coming from Valorant/CSGO, where TTk is much lower. I also Doubled my Valorant sensitivity (160edpi) to deal with the faster pace. Definitely an adjustment period!

While these advice would be decent, there is no point in trying ranked matchmaking in any game almost in 2025 unless you want to hit the wall of cheaters at high ranks. ( do not listen to people who claim to reach to ranks legit in cs2 premier for example, no statisticall possibility unless cheat to reach around top1000. And faceit had several top players banned for cheating last year).

So many flickering 60Hz monitors here... May be 120, but still interfering - thats disgustive.
