That was lovely. There are a number of ideas that l love. My faves are the chairs, the gilding and the paintings.

So nice to listen to someone so enthusiastic about encouraging others to embrace what is them. I've got others in my face at present bombarding me with what I should do, what I should have, how I should go about it... it all makes me very tired and bitchy. But I have a few precious objects of furniture and accessories that have all jumped out at me, and I have a dream bedroom, and I have a vision... and they can't see through my eyes. Some of us walking through this life come alive with color, and must have color, while others are too afraid, or don't know how to apply color. So thank you. Question: you said you'd put a link down below for the washed walls, am I missing it?

My brother lived in the burgundy section of France amongst the vineyard and hot air balloons . So when I think of French country ... tiles and terra-cotta roofs , fireplaces , gorgeous stone and chunky wood come to mind . Thanks for being you and all the wonderful design ideas . I love your passion for all things French and you have a unique way of making everyone smile.

I’m French myself, and appreciate what you bring in and your inspirations. Yet just putting out there. Bring in the unpredictable. I feel that your house Valentina is beautiful but a bit too safe and predictable. A exemple ....your lamp behind you could have an exciting flea market old pedestal or a unpredictable lamp shade. Its too store bought overly matched. Please take it as a constructive observation. An exciting space should keep one’s eyes surprised 😮

You are soooooooooo beautiful Valentina inside and out!!!! Omg your eyes, your hair, your style are gorgeous!!!!!! I feel soooooo fortunate to have found your channel I just can't even tell you how much it means to me💞💝🌺🌹I feel like I have permission to delve into my creative artistic ways and express myself and help my husband to as well!!!!! When you said it was "okay" to have an over the top room, I literally teared up.....I have a lot of our "family furniture" and fine beautiful linens and even a candelabra that's I absolutely love!!!! We live in a small cabin in the colorado foothill mountains and I've painted one of the rooms deep dark ish green and I've always wanted to make a country estate kind of wood and painted ceiling and have most of our antiques in that room, the "over the top" room!!!! Some of the furniture is in storage and because of Covid we can't really hire some fellas to bring it over here because my health is very compromised. It's something to look forward to though, I want our furniture and our other special pieces so very much, my heart aches for it, it holds so many memories and future possibilities, it would be awesome if my 70 year old husband wanted it as much as I do, he seems pretty disinterested in all my plans of decorating and all that that entails😔, the money, physical work, motivation and desire. He's an amazing man and I shouldn't complain, truly💞 Somehow I'm just feeling sorry for myself in that way, I think it's because it taps so deeply into my artistic self that is wanting to express myself so so so much and I'm too sick to make it happen and put it on him to accomplish it for me? Maybe, or he's pretty much always been this way, nevertheless thank you for letting me say these things out loud, I'm thinking there are others that can relate, if they ever read this, lol!!!!! Valentina thank you for the permission somehow I needed it big time!!!!! I love all of your tips and steps to take, they are so helpful!!!!!

If you’re looking for a lovely and well priced oil painting, try contacting the art department of a college in your area. Art students are often quite talented, are often required to do a master copy painting for their course work, and are often quite happy to sell their work for some cash. In fact, many schools have an art showing each semester designed to help students sell their work. It’s a great way to support local artists and find some lovely paintings at the same time.
