As someone who watches a lot of indie game players who play nothing but new and upcoming roguelites and deckbuilders I was like "Ha, bet" to your title, and then, pleasantly, I'd only heard of one.

another one i might recommend is library of ruina, a story based deckbuilder with absolutely brutal game-play, the endgame is something else in terms of difficulty and story telling

I played Million Monster Militia! It was pretty fun but now ik why there wasn’t much guides on it because “nobody” has played it lol. But I’m always on the lookout for hidden gems. I think i saw about it from Retromation than it was on sale for like $2 or something a few weeks ago when it was pretty cheap already so gave it a shot.

heard you talk about scratching that itch for more baldurs gate 3, i highly recommend checking out larian's other game divinity original sin 2. great game that has in my opinion better combat.
