Good video but like most of these things misses out some really awesome places. If you ever plan on making another one or three, here are some (personal favourite) suggestions: Auckland's West Coast starting with Huia, Whatipu and moving on up to Piha, Karekare and Muriwai. On the East, Waiheke, Rangitoto and Great Barrier Islands. Heading South and again on the West, Raglan and Kawhia then inland to Tongariro National Park, West to Pipiriki and the Whanganui River down to the city and out along the coast up to New Plymouth to Mt Taranaki. On the Eastern side there's the entire East Cape from Opotiki to Gisborne and a cut through via the Waioeka Gorge. Not forgetting the sweeping curve of Hawke Bay ending with Napier. Off the beaten track or at least the main roads, is the little visited stretch of coastline from Hastings all the way down to Palliser Bay, some of which is accessible and thence to Wellington for a well deserved cappuccino!

Thank you Rex. Some great suggestions. We are actually hoping to come and do another shoot and range a bit wider by car this time. Very helpful. Regards Adam

"Spend a couple days in auckland". No, no you dont. Stay there 1 night max. Theres so much to see and do in NZ. Dont waste time there especially if you dont have the luxury of spending like 6 weeks in NZ

great and informative video but all of the Māori pronunciation in this video is wrong, like Taupo is NOT pronounced taw-poe its pronounced Toe-poor like a toe on your foot that is poor. Please next time to do more research on the pronunciation because it is not hard.

Fair call. Thank you for pointing it out. We will try and correct this in future edits. 👍

No, she's wrong. You're right, almost. It's pronounced Tow-po as in cow and po as in po.🙂

a grest video. but you drew a line down the middle of the island. the north island has an east and west coast. both of which have great value for a traveler.

Aotearoa New Zealand 🇳🇿 is beautiful. Try upper North Island. I heard it’s beautiful there, the furthest I’ve been up north is Dargaville.

Just say Cody but make the d sound like r. That is how you pronounce kauri, not cowry

Aotearoa is the absolute most incredible country I've ever visited. I would live there if they would have me, but they keep out the immigrants quite effectively. The natural and cultural worlds, both old and new, are spectacular. To be a Kiwi is to be living in the best place on earth.
