I will be honest, Indus Valley Civilisation will always be the proud of India and one more thing ur crct, just cuz of colonisation it had to step a bit back in it’s progress but if you see the Independent India from 1947 until now you will be amazed by our process of bouncing back and progress….India has made cricket to a huge sport across the world, India’s engineers, doctors and businessmen are highly demanded by west, now being the third largest economy and still growing, India’s progress in science haha we shouldn’t even talk abt how good it is, India has four exams two for ugs and three for pgs (if you include both neet exams as one) ranked to be in top 10 toughest exams, Indian music, movies, dance, culture, tolerance, food is always spoken by the world and most highlighted topic, education system (even though changes r very much required) and college life is indeed hectic but much better compared from America and Europe, there r many aspects where India is growing slowly or fastly and I have often met people criticising our country or degrading it, so pls know ur country and I also wanna ty mam being a science student and still interested in social studies, ur one of the reason

But according to Puranas, Gandhara was established bu King Bharata (SriRam's brother), and established a city called "Takshashila" derived from his son's name Taksha. Later Prince Taksha with the help of their guru Vishwamitra, they established a university in Takshashila Vidyalaya. Which means Takshashila university was established approx 7000-6500 years ago.
