Always good to see someone in their funeral suit lol. I had to wear suits for work for 40 years. When I left the world I got rid of a closet full of suits except for my wedding / funeral suit. It’s the last one I will ever need haha.

Hi Gary, great entry. John Lee Hooker was always a sharp dressed man wasn't he! I was going to use that Eric Clapton cover as well until I committed to doing a "no rock & roll" entry! He does clean up well. That Pretenders cover might be the one I like best, really looks good. Take care, Elliott

Dino and then Gary-o. Blues, jazz and country guys were usually dressed up, especially in the 50's and 60's. Good Eric Clapton pick and that is a classic Blondie cover. Nice to end with Greg Kihn.

I'm a little disappointed in this thread in so much that everyone has talked about the music and no one had actually taken the time to critique the suits. Here's some amazing rock and roll suit trivia: On the cover of Abbey Road, John, Ringo and Paul are all wearing suits designed by the same man: Tommy Nutter. Another one? David Bowie wore the same suit on stage at Live aid in 1985 that he did in his 1973 promo film for Life On Mars.
