I am a Muslim, and my family have always been ones that read the ingredients before buying anything. We also live in the UK, so we go to the closest Asian/Muslim stores to buy meat/products containing gelatine. We look up ingredients that are usually put into foods and then know and understand what's halal or not. You are able to get halal jelly (jell-o) and marshmellos is some stores. We just use gelatine from halal animals, such as beef. With the other foods in the video, we usually make sure that we know and look at the ingredients. If we are unaware if it's halal, we usually don't eat it. Me and my family make most foods at home, so we know exactly what it contains. Also, most Muslim countries only have halal food. Why do these people like pork and pigs so much that they put in in EVERYTHING
@sirajhajififty4 жыл бұрын
Pigs are not healthy scientifically, I don't know why people choose something unhealthy and still get sick and never learn from, Islam is modesty, simplicity, healthy, modernity, and scientific... It's weird that's this book "Qur'an " was revealed 1,400 years ago and talks about creations from human being to trees, to animals, to science , to politics to modesty, to respect, to parenthood, to caring parents and elderly , to knowledge, to marriage, to fairness, to equality, to freedom, to everything in between.. and people still doesn't know about.. we Muslims are actually selfish, Qur'an and sunnah should reach every door steps and to everyone

Vinegar is halal, even if made from wine, since it has been transformed and no longer contains alcohol. But I know from the Galloping Gourmet that food made with wine may still contain a considerable amount of alcohol after cooking, despite what they tell you in restaurants
@michaelreid8857 Жыл бұрын
Actually, alcohol burns off at a much lower temperature than water. That is proven science. Therefore if you were to make anything with alcohol added and heat it up. Within a few minutes of raising it to a hot temperature, it would be free of alcohol. However, do you realize that all bodies start to ferment after death? Do you realize the all fruit starts fermenting after picking, cutting, or juicing? People don’t realize that the ban on consumption of alcohol was not placed for avoiding a dangerous or harmful product. The ban was placed to keep people sober at prayer time. So it is in a very similar context as most Latin countries ban alcohol, at election time, or the day of Presidential speeches!
@hoopoe9629 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelreid8857 see Dr. Weil’s discussion of this on his website: “Wine, spirits, and beer are used in cooking to enhance the flavor and aroma of dishes. Contrary to what most people believe, the entire alcohol content doesn’t always evaporate or boil away before the food is served. A study from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Nutrient Data Laboratory showed that it can take longer than two and a half hours for all the alcohol to be cooked out of food to which wine or some other alcoholic beverage has been added. The study showed that the amount of alcohol remaining depends in part on the cooking method. For example, after brandy has been “flamed” - poured on foods and then set alight - approximately 75 percent of the alcohol remains after the flames have died down. … “People need to avoid alcohol for various reasons, such as to guard against alcoholic relapse, to protect a fetus, or to avoid adverse reactions that might be brought on by certain medications. The best bet for such people would be to ask if a particular dish is cooked with wine or spirits before ordering in a restaurant. If you’re a dinner guest, you could let the host or hostess know in advance that you’re avoiding alcohol in food as well as drink.”

I'm Malaysian (Hindu) and Hahal food is literally everywhere. I'd say it's harder to find pork unless u go to Chinese restaurants
@indomiekornet20874 жыл бұрын
Yes, im Indonesian. All of the food which shown in the most store and restaurant are all halal. You can't sell and buy non halal food here unless you write an enormous sign about what's considered as haram in the food. But be careful with the street food, they don't had it and sometimes hide the ingredients from buyers

@@indomiekornet2087 great advise. Been to Indonesia twice in my life and I love your country, so cantik❤. Though the Halal law is a double edged sword for Hindus like me since we can't eat beef. I don't like pork either due to the uncleanliness of it

Fun fact: If you see a small “K” or “U” mark on a food product, it’s certified to be kosher which is permissible for Muslims to eat. You’ll be surprised how many products have this label on them. They’re small and usually on the front of the package.
@MrTech-ch5in4 жыл бұрын
Its the opposite. Muslims can eat ONLY Halal food, but jewish can eat halal or kosher food. Watch out, because there is a lot of disinformation out there. The best tip is to ask an Imam (muslim priest) about this kind of stuff. Have a good day!

@@KkKKkKKKKK709 I agree, I thought of it later on, what I meant to say really was on the basics of meats where kosher slaughtering is often viewed halal but Jews can't eat halal meats since they don't observe all the kosher rituals, as to kosher products that have some form of alcohol ingredient it can't be considered halal
