I think one of the big reasons that Foamstars just didn't take off anyway was it's use of AI, proudly saying they used it for a majority of their art assets. Turned a lot of people that were interested off of even wanting to play the game

I think what hurt GunEvo the most is lack of cross play. bad monetization, and slow updates. The market was definitely there but the huge QoL changes coming at the the game was just one of the worst things that sucked. Especially once I was able to run the game on PC during the closing of it.

They also had a lot of bad luck, they were victims of the hi-rez curse, people accused the game of being a copy of valorant, despite the fact that rogue company was announced several months before, and unlike valorant that hid all the content of the game until launch, the developers of rogue company did show all the content of the game from the moment they announced it, it simply doesn't matter what game hi-rez makes, a similar game will always emerge at the same time that will completely overshadow its game.

You want to know why Splatoon 3 reigns supreme in turf way style multiplayer shooters? The game is fun to play and has 11 weapon classes with various weapons, and they all feel fun to use! You also have 14 Sub Weapons and 19 Special Weapons, and they all feel fun to use. Plus, you have the ability to customize your playstyle with different Abilities on the three Gear types, and they each feel different. And if Splatoon 4 is going to be made for Switch 2, then Splatoon 4 will be better than 3, because Nintendo’s third person multiplayer shooter franchise is one of the best multiplayer third person shooter franchises ever.

@@Regigigas_YT I’m agreeing with you that I’m not glazing Splatoon 3 a lot, but there are some things I wish would’ve happened with the game. First and foremost is that the weapon variants from the first 2 games should’ve been brought back in Splatoon 3, like the N-ZAP ‘83, then Fresh Squiffer and the Sploosh-O-Matic 7, because it is weird that the Sheldon’s Picks weapons are iconic weapon variants and yet they didn’t return in the 3rd game, but maybe they’ll return in Splatoon 4. Another thing I wish was fixed was the disconnection issue, because Nintendo never fixed that issue, and I’m not buying a Switch OLED to dock my Switch into the OLED dock to fix the issue, but just like with the Sheldon’s Pick weapons, maybe Nintendo will fix the disconnection issue in Splatoon 4.

I was addicted to Exoprimal. Its the most fun I've had playing these types of games. Too bad not too many people are on nowadays. Its downfall was its admittedly boring early game and 60$ price tag, but damn those later levels get so tense but satisfying. Thats the only game I've played where DPS was probably the least popular role. Not because it was bad but because it was the hardest to play affectively. I wasn't a big fan of the PvP though. I'm sure if it was purely PvP it would have drawn a bigger crowd.

Rogue company was actually really really good, one of the few hero shooters i actually enjoyed, i played alot of overwatch, marvel rivals and rogue company...and i would i had the most fun with rogue because there were so many modes and so many clutches marvel rivals is ok but the community so far is just garbage....so damn toxic

Honestly wish for Evolve and Battleborn that they would have survived. For Battleborn, I feel Overwatch should have been the one to die, especially with how things for the game have only gotten worse and Battleborn had a lot more to give. For Evolve, it felt like an amazing game that was ahead of its time. Biggest issue was their focus on micro transactions being overboard with not many characters/monsters through dlc.

The game was going places until Spring or Sumner 2023. Secondly the game had server issues it wouldn't matter if you was on Last Gen or Next-Gen you would still get kicked from the game .Thirdly only a few weapons became useful while most of the weapons became underwhelming not even when your firearm reached Epic it still wasn't effective enough

Gundam Evolution was a REALLY good game. The only problem was that some units were hard to get because you needed to grind a lot to get credits to get said units. The issue is that those credits were limited per season effectively blocking F2P players from getting every unit available. Another issue was the bad balancing when it first came out. Barabatos decimated everyone. And you know what they say, first impressions lasts. It was a fun game. But it took months for it to get updates. and those updates were super meh. Bandai tried to fast track it to become an esports as soon as possible and it was the reason for its downfall. They didn't cared about the fans, only to get their money back and profit ASAP from Gundam EVO.

It also didn't help the game itself had no cross play and cross progression neither which if you were trapped to another platform and your friends is all on another, you just didn't really had a reason to play the game.

I loved Gundam Evolution. The gameplay really was fun, but the battlepass and pay-to-unlock suits were the biggest detractors. To the battlepass's credit, it gave you enough in-game currency to buy *most* of the suits if you didn't mind grinding out some games first.

Rogue company was SUCH A FUN GAME…then they started doing battle passes..then the game got stale because they just released skins and not maps or characters. Me and my Bro were dropping 40 bombs almost every game each and we’re really good at the game. We even raced each other to the Nova skin (getting all the guns max level) but after that there was nothing to do but the..battle pass that wasn’t even that great

I’m fairly sure gundam had like a few maps that replicated the layout of overwatch maps so there could be a under the table lawsuit that never came out or something similar or they just thought the game wasn’t doing as well as they hoped but I want rainbow six out break back that limited time game mode was awesome I loved playing it but extraction was good but it was still a shadow in comparison to outbreak

As someone who played rogue company since it's beta the game fell off mostly due to lack of updates outside of the first rode map there wasn't much else added and when then did add it toke them months to do so..also the promise of something similar to a story or lore being added jus never happen either
