There are 2 different types of official BMW wheel locks. Traditional version is made by McGard, and can be seen at 4:20. The most recent version, made by BMW, has a spline key, and is shown at 6:19. I went with the later for my most recent G15 purchase. Thanks for the video!

I kept getting a low coolant light so I filled up the coolant reservoir to the radiator, to only keep getting the light. BMW didn’t tell me the V8’s have two coolant reservoirs, one for the Twin turbos as well.

How to use the tow hook in rear to tow my vehicle. I think it should be for towing other vehicles. Any such slot in front?

Yes there is a slot in the front as well, it's kind of hidden, but you should see the same cut out that's in the back, in the front as well.

Should the dealership have informed me about the front plate for the M series? I found that piece in my trunk and I’m just learning what it is. Is this installed by them or do I need to now find someone to do so? It is required in my state.

Yes they should've informed you, still your own responsibility at the end of the day though. You should be able to go back to them and request it to be mounted. Not something that takes a long time so should not be an issue. They usually don't do it unless it's requested because once you have it mounted you're going to have drill holes in the bumper. Many people hate the look of it on so that's why they wait until the client requests it to be on.

I bought a license plate mount that screws into my front tow slot. No screws in the bumper.

Can you please make a video on how to troubleshoot between Android car and an Android Samsung cell phone. For example, WhatsApp suddenly no longer works properly. Can't find existing contact by voice control? How to resync the contacts or why BMW navigation cannot find a recorded location while Android navigation does. Etc. And then for the less expensive BMW versions, such as my BMW-1. Thanks, greetings from the Netherlands.

Couple things you could try. Hold down the radio volume knob to restart the BMW System. You could also try unpairing and repairing your phone and that could re-sync the contacts too As for whats app acting not right try un installing the app and re installing. A lot of the times those just need an update as well.

Check your tailgate settings to make sure the feature is on, if the vehicle has it, it should give you the option to enable or disable this feature. When trying it, keep the key fob on you, and wave your foot FRONT TO BACK, at a medium pace, straight down the middle of the trunk.

Where is the jack and lug wrench for the 2024 BMW X5 xdrive40i?

It will most likely not have it if it came without a spare tire. If the vehicle does not have a spare, it would mean that most likely has run-flat tires, which those can drive on a complete flat for up to 50 mph. They are trying to get away from jack and lug wrenches to stay off the roads for safety reasons.

Thanks for sharing this information, I was also wondering how to update my idrive 8 to 8.5 ? The dealership said I can do it remotely but not sure how, I looked on my bmw app aswell and couldn't find anything for the update. Thx

Depends on the vehicle, which one is it? For a lot of them it's not available yet, so will just have to wait. BMW let's the updates out in batches not all at once.
