The thing is that Infant Annihilator just suck, period. If they only exist as a parody, fine. But as a huge fan of extreme metal in general i can't emphasize how much Infant Annihilator suck, song writing is basically non existent and a band who can't pull it off live are not a metal band.

Now I know they're doing this for the most exaggerated reactions but personally I think throwing people into the deep end of metal with the blackest, most guttural bands isn't the best way to go if you actually want them to have a chance at enjoying it. Shock isn't the only reaction to have and I'd personally like to see someone find the beauty in metal too, not just the aggression. There are more upbeat and melodic bands out there that would probably sit a little easier with people but I guess ultimately people who weren't looking to actually get into it weren't going to no matter what you threw at them

Im no fan of Infant Annihilator...however I am a fan of how normies react to them. I was there at the start ot thrash and death metal. A lot of these bands seem like posers given the perspective of my age and how long I have been immersed in metal. That being said...Infant Annihilator isn't as much of a poser band to me in this era as Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Warrant, etc calling themselves metal bands during the days of Death, Slayer,Testament, Sepultura, etc. The posers then and today's posers are quite different lol.

Lost in Vegas and Jamel are a lot of fun to watch. They're open-minded and judge everything they see on its own merits. Lost in Vegas in particular are born music lovers and get truly into the stuff that connects with them. One of my favorite reactions ever in the "black guy reacts to metal" portion of youtube is a guy - and I can't remember the name of the channel or find it, maybe he took it down - who listened to Tool's Third Eye in its entirety and at the end just sat there in stunned silence for thirty seconds and the video ended without him saying a word. It was surely a bit stagey and done for comedic effect, but it was also a perfect reaction to the song and its ending.
