I would love the idea of a "raid" event every now and then, where squads get put in the same game and have to work together to take down a big baddie: Imagine a huge, huge Bile Titan, underground cave systems that need plugging at the same time, a Bile Queen that needs stopping before the planet get overrun etc. This game has such huge potential to keep going the way it is, and I hope the not only the devs, but the community, is there for it

Just wanna mention it's not just the youngins out here liberating bots and bugs from their existence. My entire squad is in our mid to late 40s. OGs that have been fighting together for over 2 decades. Old men that can still bring the pain. o7

hmm I like the idea of going into a tunnel but that would have to be a whol different load screen then dropping form the pod Bec there not gonna have u pod drop then find the cave play another cutscene/loading screen into the cave an now begin ur mission it’d have to be something else

Pvp? Absolutely not. not in any way shape or form. Sincerely hope the CEO sticks to his "never adding pvp" statement. Not every game needs pvp. you want pvp? there's a million games out there with pvp. Leave our PVE games alone and let the devs focus resources on an amazing PVE experience, or you'll just end up with a mediocre PVP/PVE game like so many others that try to do this and fail miserably.

Totally echo this sentiment. This is not a PVP game, nor should it ever be, there’s a huge market out there for that play style, knock yourself out if that’s your gig, but HD2 is not that kinda game. The main reason this game is such pure, unadulterated FUN is because it’s cooperative and this negates the PVP toxicity that is a staple of that genre….and I say this with friendly fire being a very real thing! The cooperative nature of the game is self filtering in that it keeps the toxic assholes away and those of us who are not into PVP are finally getting something special here.

Ship to ship outer space battles. Think boarding party, board an enemy ship and take out their captain. For the bugs, they could have a bio ship and instead of taking out the captain you take out its heart

I agree, aside from the 1 faction we know about. If you look at the full galaxy map, if you look at the spacing of the territories we are fighting against. There room for at least 3 more fronts

The whole concept of the game is about working together. Why would it make any sense to have team on team competition? I'd say some like epic bosses appear and you can call in an additional team to assist

I hear you, and I agree I wouldn’t want to disrupt the spirit of the game, but I could easily see them working in a team vs team system. Even a leaderboard system would be cool, but they’d have to clean up the cheaters first

I think you're thinking about it too maliciously. Think of it as friendly competition. "Hey the squad that can get this done first gets a round of drinks from the other squad". Competition between squads has been a thing in the military for...probably its inception. It could absolutely work and that's why he said not PVP. You're not trying to kill the other team, just outperform them.

But it 100% would become pvp like 80% of the time and likely gain some negative stigma attached to it, it would but much more reasonable for the game mode if direct friendly was disabled so only stratagems or turned of entirely.

@@LegacyGamingUS NO! This game is cooperative only. Take your competition urge to virtually any other game, since all other multiplayer games have it basically. They should not be spending dev time on any modes where Helldivers compete in any way.

Well for me it's crazy why we can't combine fire with gas orbital strike so we could create even bigger AOE explosion. The second thing that is weird is why we don't have few types of ammo for each weapon when deployed on mission. For example even pistol with AP rounds would do some damage to armored enemy. :) Just hold "R" like it is in the game already and choose swap mags, it would be that simple...

Hey i think they should add a prestige system eveytime we hit prestige we get a reward like a skin. It will add longevity to the game also. Great list btw

Hounds and Immolators are Cyborgs. We may yet see the Cyborg faction come back into play. The Behemoth is in Helldivers 2 as the Behemoth Charger variant.

Daily and weekly challenges are definitely needed for the live service game. It just gives players something to work towards, even if it’s just kill 1000 enemies with a specific gun type or stratagem. More warbonds free and premiums that we can start to work through

As a Veteran Helldiver, there's a few things that is better to clarify. 1. All of the Terminid creature are in the game Behemoth class Charger can be seen in game , especially in individual missions to kill a charger, Hive Lords are in game, Game Master probably block us winning Erata Prime last time because he doesn't want to show anything out of time. 2. PvP is not gonna be a reality , I understand some divers come from other franchises that have PvP, but that is not gonna happen. 3. What happen in the Automatons territory was not a coincidence , Automatons are moving to the North West to Valis Sector were Cyberstan is located , the homeworld of the Cyborgs in the first game, the Devs explains that Automatons and Cyborgs are not exactly the same factions. 4. The last thing is dyes, customized loadouts and cosmetics , it would be cool that it happen somewhere down the line, but is unlikely that it happen now that the game is so new . they need to balance the the weapons first.

Scale contributions to difficulty better and balance what is already here are top of my list because they're so simple and fast to fix. The rest of what they're already doing looks great and they really just have to deliver more of what we have. Having nothing beyond level 20 to unlock, more varieties in strategems and weapons, etc all seem to be announced or at least on the table. They honestly don't need to do much to keep hitting home runs with this one other than what they already have planned and just giving us more of what already existed at launch so we have more to do.

The 10 ideas were great. I especially liked the Commander idea. Would keep a squad on task and would be cool to have someone with a birds eye view of the battlefield.

My Helldivers 2 ideas. *Mission Types:* Destroy Planetary Anti-ship Weapons - The massive plasma/lasers that blast destroyers out of orbit have to be coming from something, I think a mission type where we destroy those would be really cool, they could be located at massive Automaton bases, and require some technical work to shut them down and destroy them, such as shutting down shield generators, breaching their base, powering down the guns, and then blowing them to hell. Wasp Nest destruction - As seen bellow, I have an idea for a new enemy type, wasps. This mission type would be to target and destroy their nests which would be found high up on cliff walls, building surfaces, towers, etc. Destroy them with large weapons/flames/air support, etc. Upon initial attack of the nests, they will spawn a swarm of wasps that will aggressively pursue the Helldivers, so it will be important to destroy them quickly and efficiently. Raid - Raid Missions would take place on the interior of a massive bug nest, or a large Automaton manufacturing facility. They would be chaotic, and filled with intense battles, large amounts of enemies, and even bosses. Windows/holes in the ceiling will cast rays of light down from above, marking key locations where stratagems will be available for call in. *Enemy Types: (Placeholder Names)* (Termanids) Arachnids - Based on Trap Door Spiders, these ambush predators could have burrows beneath the soil/sand, when you get near them they burst out and attack with a sporadic, vicious, and rapid strike. Their main attack inflicts venomous damage over time, and their alternate attack stuns Helldivers with a thick burst of demobilizing web. Wasps - Based on wasps, these would obviously be a flight-based bug that will attack from the air, their wings are loud allowing you to hear them coming, but landing shots on them is the real issue as they swiftly draw near and impale you with a devastating stinger attack. (Variants could include worker wasps, small, weak, and stay close together in swarms. Soldier Wasps, larger and much stronger and more dangerous. Queens, the largest of the bunch, they will spawn additional worker wasps.) (Automatons) Gun Carriage - A large and imposing Automaton that moves on tracks, but has a heavily armor torso which can rotate 360 degrees, it is heavily armed with 30mm Vulcan cannons, and rear mounted mortars which will drive you out of cover. Destroying the drive wheel sprocket will immobilize the bot, but it will still be able to rotate, getting behind the lower half and shooting it in the back will be its weak point. Drones - These automatous air units will be called in with a different colored flare that can be launched by Automaton ground units. They are armed with hellfire rockets and 20mm cannons. Though not very strong, they are very deadly. *Stratagems:* Anti-Air Sentry - As the name suggests, these sentries will target airborne enemies such as wasps, drop ships, and drones. Ss well as other enemies that might leap into the air such as Hunters. Orbital Warhead - A massive and destructive explosive that is fired from orbit, it will kill anything in a large radius, but it has a slow call-in time, and a very long cool-down. Orbital EMP - An electromagnetic pulse that will temporarily shut down all electronics within a large radius, that includes all Automaton units, and drop ships, as well as Helldiver stratagems and vehicles. The pulse will last for 20-30 seconds, and have a long cool down. *Weapons:* With weapons I don’t have any super specific ideas, but there certainly needs to be more diversity. We need more DMR’s, Assault Rifles, SMG’s, and Pistols. I would also like to see some small melee weapons as an optional replacement for pistols, such as a tomahawk, sword, knife, and a baton/club. The melee weapons would be useless against armor, but would be an nice option to have to introduce a few new mechanics. Aim = Block, Trigger = Primary melee attack, Melee = Alternate melee attack. *Planets:* I know we haven’t seen every time of biome in the game, which means some of my ideas may already exist and I just don’t know it yet, but either way I would like to note them down. Forest of Giants - Think Endor, Redwood Forest, Giant Sequoia’s… A planet type that offers this environment would not only be a unique setting, as it’s something not typically seen in sci-fi, but it would just offer some amazing and memorable battles. Mountains - In some instances verticality is done pretty well in Helldivers 2, but I’d like it to double down, I want planets with tall, rocky, treacherous mountains, environments that will eliminate the use our soon to come vehicles like mechs, APC’s, and technicals. Swamps - They don’t have to be poisonous, but I’d love to wade through murky waters while being shot at or being chased by swarms of bugs. Aquatic - This one comes from my nine-year-old son, and I love it. Water planets with islands, we would need to take boats to each of the islands to complete our objectives, the boats would be mission provided Stratagems. These watery worlds would offer unique possibilities for aquatic based enemies, be it bugs, bots, illuminate, or even indigenous lifeforms that lives in the depths bellow. Low-Atmospheric - Planets with a low atmosphere, causing muffled sound effects. Simple, but I think it would be a nice touch. *Special Events:* I saved this for last because it’s probably the most pipe-dreamy of my ideas… I want a Mass Effect crossover event, DESPERATELY. Mass Effect Armor: Light Armor - N7 Onix Light Armor (Mass Effect 1) Medium Armor - N7 Standard Armor (Mass Effect 2/3) Heavy Armor - N7 Destroyer Armor Cape - A short black cape with the classic red and white stripes and N7 sewn into its design. Mass Effect Weapons: Assault Rifle - M-8 Avenger Pistol - M-3 Predator Shotgun - M-23 Katana SMG - M-12 Locust Mass Effect Stratagems: Vehicle - M-35 Mako (Delivered Via the SR1 or SR2 Normandy) Planets: Virmire (I understand this is a lot, and I doubt this would all be added for a simple event, but I’m just going all out.)

I hope the majority of what you suggested never happens. Adding mobile apps, minions offline progress, pvp like stuff, commander mode, just no. The game doesn't need to be made majorly complex or setup to provide players with distractions to interact with systems outside of normal game play/offline. PVP competition style elements go completely against the spirit and design of the game and will lead to it being a completely different game. I don't understand why everyone always wants to change something that is already great into something else. It ends of mutating into something that looks nothing like what you fell in love with. Some new weapons/stratagems, limited vehicles within the confines of certain missions ( bigger maps/more difficult objectives), larger group play/bigger bosses, those make sense. Whatever they add needs to be carefully considered so it doesn't break the gem they already have.

Great video. From what I have seen so far the weekly challenges are global so even casuals who can only play a few hours a week will still get the reward if the entire helldiver population completes the event and the personal ones are not timed they just appear and you receive the reward at your leisure.

That’s the way I like it. I quit playing Destiny because they made it feel like a job. Also you could get left behind and miss out on items if you didn’t dedicate your time.

I really want them to introduce Clan halls, like big battleships or space stations for your clan's Destroyers to dock at. Something to spend your money on at the endgame once you have all your basic unlocks. And here your clan could donate their excess Requisitions, samples, or a unique currency, to unlock clan-wide bonuses or build new facilities, like a similated firing range to test weapons and strategems, or even build a recreational arcade with a Dance Dance Liberation machine! 😁 ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️

A mode like Battlefield 1 Frontlines would be cool. Like an all out war in the frontlines on a planet with 100 players you can join anytime. Just chaos and Mayhem

Concept: Mission Chain. A series of 4-5 curated missions with some light narrative connective tissue. You can only team up with players that have unlocked the mission in the chain you are attempting. The final mission in the chain would be a unique mission with some cool rewards.

I would like to see more control over Guard Dog Backpacks. Let us stow or deploy the guard dog drone as we want. So we can lock them down to stealth past a patrol, rather than the drone just open fire automatically giving away our position. Let us Ping enemies we want the guard dog to focus on. Also, give us other variants, maybe auto cannon or rocket-dogs, to help take out chargers and heavy armored enemies. Maybe a mine layer drone that we can deploy when being chanced down by a large group, dropping mines or grenades behind us and we ran for our lives.

I think I'd like to see Helldiver factions, that's how we'd compete. Whichever faction completes orders best gets special bonuses, or strategems, etc.

Addendum to the enemy commander mode: Instead of making it consequential PvP, make it like a training sim type thing. You load in as the Hive/Bot commander against the last team your Helldiver went in with. Test your tactics against yourself. One of the best ways to get better at chess when you plateau is to play against your own games after the fact.

Couple quality of life changes I'd like to see: make ammunition crate carriable. Restock ammunition for turrets. Sub-factions, instead of cramming all kinds of enemy types in a mission, divide them into sub-factions. A stalker heavy sub faction control in the Terminids sector, and majority of the enemies are camouflaged or in plant disguise, or a Charger heavy sub-faction where majority of the enemies are armored and have roly-poly's. (just a random idea) For Solo Play, maybe a commando mode where you can equip more stratagems.

Would love added mission variety in higher difficulties. Boss fights and base defense battles, maybe even invasion type battles where there are set pieces of troops coming in and completing objectives to help an army push further onto a planet. The possibilities are endless. Game has sooooo much potential. Love the content guys and gals. Cheers

I agree with the customization deal here. And the lack of weapons is making it hard to wanna move away from certain builds in any part of the game. Id love to see a forge mode too and maybe somehow get the bots AND bugs and have 2-3 teams of helldivers work together to fight both of those factions in a MASSIVE map scale

Invasions would be great,If you're on the automatons side get invaded by bugs and if you're on the bugs side get invaded by automatons like every 2 hrs or so.The testing area you mentioned that would be awesome 😎

They definitely need secondary objectives that require stealth and have a fail state. Like a prisoner will be executed, or a door will be locked shut. You can’t use call ins and need to be stealthy otherwise you fail. But it’s a secondary objective, so it won’t fail the whole mission.

About casual players: I'm a casual player, no more than 27 - 30 hours in game, and already have some prety good stuff unlocked. Rail gun included. I'm on LVL 21, not rushing for EXP, grabing as much itens possible in every POI that I can visit throught the run, and thats it. I think that the initial grind is part of the evolving process. at least I think that was pretty fun until now

A simple one that no one seems to understand is having a set of missions or mode with an already set amount of enemies per difficulty, for example dif 6 Eliminate 600 enemies who are all over a big or medium map find and end them all before the clock runs out, the number of enemies go up per difficulty level, is totally different from eradication missions, this lets the players explore and hunt down enemies across the map and truly clear an entire map from all enemies and when the last one is gone the objective is completed and when activating the extraction terminal then it goes back to random swarms spawning and attacking the extraction zone.

When I listen to ACG's podcast he always says "why not tell the devs what you want as a gamer let them know of your ideas." They get into crazy brainstorming and what would be "fun" making a list and vid of what would be cool that the devs can see and think about isn't a bad thing. Wish the legacy gaming team could do an episode for ACG's podcast someday, just gamers talking about games.

I like a lot of the things from your list and would like to add to it. Add an 'Emote Wheel' that allows you to select what emote you want to use on the fly. Being limited to a single emote that has to be selected in advance is kind of boring. Would love to see some more options added to the communications wheel such as 'I'll follow you,' or 'Which Way.' Along the same lines as that can we add some sort of system to select who will be the navigator for the mission? Not a lot of people seem to communicate with headsets and I have found that in a bunch of games people just go off and do their own thing instead of sticking with the squad and doing the objectives. Maybe they can add buffs if you are within a certain radius of all of your squad members?

An idea i have that i feel like will give even more teamwork is "planetary strategems" if a planet is or maybe or 100% taken, you wouldnt be able to fight without being SWARMED! So the comunity would choose a planetary weapon to destroy a huge amount of the bugs and giving both a benifit and drawback, going nuclear means all bugs have a random amount of health but players need more stims to heal

I just wanna say that I have been playing since about day 4 after launch and I have never encountered any problems other than a couple disconnects and some clipping issues in game. I actually had high praise for just how functional the game was in contrast to alot of other launches.

the map commander one I'm iffy on, I don't think it should be a fifth player that only plays on the map, rather, I think they should tie stratagems and mission sites to being used through the map, allowing players to build a "Commander" kit or take an objective and support their team from the other side of the map. things like mortars that can be aimed using the map, or a radio backpack allowing you to call in stratagems remotely rather than needing to throw a designator ball. Basically, allow the helldivers in the mission/team choose to opt into the commander role but find some way to add both costs and gains to it such as more powerful stratagems, but less ability for on-the-ground combat like needing to hold up an antenna instead of holding a shotgun inorder to call in a tactical nuke on the other side of the map, or maybe helldivers running the "commander kit" have additional team stratagems and are able to call in additional resupplies but instead of a cooldown, they are in limited supply, perhaps they even cost req points rather than being free.

Swords, swords/bayonets/melee secondaries/melee stratagems would be f***ing awesome. They have a good balance since you can use them infinitely but you have to be right next to an enemy.

I would love to see some updated map concepts, specifically populated areas like cities or towns. It doesn't make sense that we are defending planets with little to no human settlements apart from the military installations we find.

1. Need something besides more medals to encourage playing multiple missions. Right now grind is about fastest farm for exp/samples/ etc. No real emphasis on global war effort which is primary plot of the game. Give me a task to push into occupied territory one mission group / planet at a time. Each one gets harder and Final mission is some unique objective, / raid with potentially unique rewards. Hopefully this has some meaning full impact on status of war for completing it. 2. Need a basic clan system. something to promote group game play without needing to put people on friends list. Preferably have a few clan based leader boards for amount of war progress achieved.

I think its important to point out that the Cyborgs from HD1 are not the Automatons from HD2. They may be linked as it sounds like the Automatons were a creation of the Cyborgs, but the latter was 'defeated' in HD1 and from what I gathered learning about it, they're basically enslaved on their homeworld by us.

Weapon Tuning is needed, nothing crazy like skins, new sights, extended mags, choosing round type, and maybe laser to help with the hip-fire. It would be amazing to unlock these with gun specific challenges. I’m not trying to make into COD but just a little big of tuning brings so much replay ability. Just make the most absurd gun and have fun with it. After all the only good bug is a dead bug.

That Commander mode is an interesting idea. Maybe a way to balance it is to not allow any strategems for on the ground squad in that game since you have someone who's already in charge of calling down strategems.

Give mechs a long cooldown for its tankiness and damage. Make their movement have a windup to it. I.e. You build up momentum to walk fast but have a delay before you fully stop. (You stop moving, but the mech takes a couple of steps before fully stopping) this would add nuance to the mechs playstyle, making them different from normal play. Have their ammo only be able to resupply through a special resupply beacon that only refills one mech at a time. This would encourage teams to not run all mechs and give the ground Divers the ability to pick the resupply to support their friendly mech. Finally, they can't regain health unless a Diver repairs them. Similar to reloading a friends auto cannon. Either the pilot steps out to repair the mech, or a teammate repairs the mech with the benefit being the mech can still shoot. They mech would have to be stationary to be repaired. Mechs are gonna be a powerful option regardless of their drawbacks. So giving them a more tactical nuance would be the way to go.

Just thought of one last drawback for the firepower a mech can bring. The pilot only deploys with a sidearm option if their mech gets destroyed. This would definitely discourage "4 man meta mech teams or kick bullshit."

In the first game mechs are a one time use for each player. So the max number of mechs per game is 4 (if each member brings one strategem). They're also limited by health (obviously) and ammo and cannot be rearmed. So deployment is tactical since it's one time use.

A cover system would slow us sown a bit too much, especially if the Illuminates are introduced into the game. Their stealth was deadly in Helldovers 1 and any in-and-out cover system would make us sitting ducks for them

Here's what i think would be cool and don't think it would be that complicated to do. Everyone pretty much knows that there will be illuminates in the game. they were in HD1 and there was evidence around the game files of their existence in HD2. BUT, that doesnt mean arrowhead cant surprise us with them. HOW they are introduced is anyone's guess. My idea would be something like this, you log in, theres a new major order. Go to this "automaton" planet you need to *insert whatever objective here*. Everyone teams up, selects their loadouts and dive onto the planet surface. It's weirdly quiet, there's no sight of enemies anywhere. is the mission bugged? You make your way to the main objective to get/do *insert whatever objective here*. You arrive and interract with the objective terminal. It starts a 3-5 minute countdown before completion. BOOM! suddenly, illuminate's start spawning everywhere and around the base. High command intel was wrong and you've been ambushed. Everyone is caught off guard and thrown into an encounter with enemies they've never faced before and no knowledge of how they fight. Heck, they could even go crazy with it and make the mission unwinnable. What scarier way to introduce the illuminates then getting completely stomped on your first encounter with them? You extract/fail the mission, return to orbit, message from high command pops "illuminates have mobilised and launched a surprise assault on the galactic front, bla bla bla democracy". TL;DR just because we know illuminates are coming, doesn't mean they can't make a surprise entrance into the war.

I still would really like something similar to the actual starship troopers game. a base that we can upgrade and build defenses around. walls, turrets, etc. etc., but make it endless, and put it on a full size map. let us venture out around the map to collect more resources to build more defenses in between waves. I think that would be so cool

Honestly, the bots already are kind of a necron-like faction I agree with the rest though Another idea would be to open up the Steam Workshop for community made armors, kinda like Warframe does it

This video makes me think a lot about warframe. If you look at what they started with and where they are now, I mean, it's a monster of a game with systems that work so well with each other. Live or hate Warframe, they made a game that lasts and continues to just be such a powerhouse. I see Helldivers easily maintaining that level of stickiness with the community they are cultivating, and they will have to take chances on systems level decisions.

There are great ideas here but guys, hey, let's Just take it easy and slowly. The game is not even a month old and we should let devs watch, observe and listen. Our expectations Will be met hopefully but let's enjoy this game and let devs do their job. I have seen people consuming so Fast that they started asking more. Almost more than %70 of gamers are not even lvl 30.

Idk but for a live service game, they actually have to start adding stuff soon besides just tweaking enemy conquer values and updating major orders. There should be a noticeable addition or change at the beginning of every month imo.

Sir, we quite literally already datamined, and some modders already can flatout spawn, quite a bit of the upcoming content. We also already know from datamines that the Illuminate are coming as a 3rd faction. It's all coming.

I think would be great have gym or biolab to make Helldivers better. Improve accuracy, recoil control, reduce fall damage, movment speed while crouch, weapon swap speed

Guild/clan with a Hub space station where players can spend credits to make it a home. Imagine docking you personal ship to your guild space station

In riders republic they had gigantic race that you could participate every couple of hours, so let's say every 2 hours on the ship you have a possibility to have a 8 player mission

I know you're making your fight for a "PvP" gamemode, but to that I say... Just go play Gambit in Destiny 2. This game is about defending Super Earth, and that is it. Gambit in Helldivers 2 could work, but instead of having an "Invaders", they're assistants. Assisting to complete the mission "faster" and tracking a players helpfulness to the overall mission. For example; Calling in an ICBM but to the other teams zone due to an overwhelming enemy, but the ICBM could be a support pod system, OR an actual ICBM just to end the match. The team that finishes first has to help the other team if you choose rescue pods. "Great job defending Democracy, now go help these soldiers understand how it's done". Or, "Friendly fire is only tolerated when the enemy has a numbers advantage, blow them all away". Having the choice of how to win would actually be a cool and fun thing to do. I personally would rather have 8 people working together to complete a mission, instead of just sending ICBM to ruin other players day. Maybe more of like, artillery support instead of ICBM? I think it would have to be a community growing PvP instead of a competitive style with leaderboards. The ultimate leaderboard is defending Super Earth... so more contributions, the better. Killing other soldiers isn't and shouldn't be the objective imo, friendly fire just "happens" sometimes. That's basically PvP. If Destiny 2's gambit isn't the way to go, then maybe Kingmakers (I know it's not out, but the RTS and 3rd person swapping elements are in the trailer) would be a fun concept. Controlling a huge hoard of bugs and playing as a Bile Titan? Sounds fun to me. (I know there's a better example than Kingmakers, but I can't remember the game for the life of me... maybe Evolve???) Regarding the outside IP's coming in, this could be the Sci-fi die-hards fortnight. Bringing in Halo: ODST/Wars stuff, Warhammer 40,000, Alien vs Predator, etc.... just begin to imagine the possibilities with any Sci-fi series, and it would be so cool to see.

Breaking news! All the server issues and crash games were due to an automaton jamming signal. Preventing helldivers from liberating planets. Luckily Command found the signal and destroyed it.

Good suggestions overall, I think the commander game mode would be super fun, kinda like making you a mini game master. I do agree with most of the community though in that pvp doesn't really have a place in this game.

Maybe have the commander mode IN that all out battle mode you were thinking of. Would make more sense in that mode and then it could be contained instead of coming up with a way to implement it in various ways

Having just purchased an Xbox series x before I saw a lot of this game I'm really hoping it comes to Xbox shortly. Also I definitely could see them adding a mutant enemy type. Such as ferals that swarm you and have the bigger ones able to use weapons or use tactics against the players. Stealth or ambush. Considering how the bug enemies are primarily about swarming players, the automatons feel more ranged based. So it would make sense to have an enemy variant that combines both.

Honestly i just want balance, make other weapons as viable as breaker and railgun. Also id appreciate more variety of mission. DRG had that kind of problem and they solved it by creating more and more mission objectives.

When I think of PvP in a game like this I always think of left for dead 2 versus. It would be great for a group of 8 friends but, I feel this game is all about being a cog in the ever expanding military conquest that is Super Earth. PvP I feel would just take away from the whole together we fight for democracy aspect, seeing how the community is right now is so great because we all fight for one goal. Super Earth

I'm skeptical that a "Battle-Royale-Like" would fit the narrative. If we're competing in any way, how would that tie into the Global war effort? Do the kills count towards the war effort? If not, aren't we pulling Divers away from the war effort? I think a way to pull this off is to have "clans" like The Division 2, and a leader board. Then have the top clean earn special rewards at the end of a period of time. This way we keep the focus on the global war and you get the competition element as clans compete for the top spot (recognition and special rewards)

Illumate will be added to the south of galatic map and cyborgs on the north. And do planet missions where two enemy factions are fighting each other at the same time helldivers are getting dropped between the two groups. Yes test area needed too ans loadouts

When it comes to weapon balance, most of the changes would be fairly minor tweaks. For example, the Recoilless Rifle and Autocannon both need buffs to make them worth losing the backpack slot. The RR needs more damage on armored targets and the Autocannon should not be bouncing off of armor (I can understand doing less damage, but not bouncing). Their reload and other properties are fine, but they should not be straight-up worse than the Railgun in 90% of situations. The Breaker Spray-n-Pray is actual garbage. I don't understand how I can empty AN ENTIRE MAG and still not kill a single Terminid egg (no, I'm not exaggerating). Both DMRs are also garbage, the Counter Sniper especially. It should have double or triple the damage based on how poor the handling is (arguably as bad as the Anti-Materiel Rifle). I just want to use a loadout that isn't the Breaker/Defender + Railgun without feeling like I'm meme-ing, trolling my teammates, or intentionally gimping myself.

I would like to see a skilltree added to the game where you cant fill it out and need to choose what you want (free resets) for a mission type and what role you play in that mission. Maybe attach a class system to it? Doesnt feel very Helldivers 2 but maybe something you unlock at level 10 or somethingnow that Super Earth trusts you a bit more. I would also like to see that infinite horde mode you talked about, but specifically on the planets we got 0% liberation on so that it makes sense why youre being overwhelmed. Lastly, I think that they should think outside the box with stratagems and how to use them. For example like you said in the video, stratagems that take up multiple slots or what I personally would like to see is 2 players with the same "OP" stratagem needing to type in the code before it can be activated. Probably some hot takes but I am open for debate! (not mindless "it sucks cuz you suck at the game")
