This really inspired me a lot. I was the type of person who doesn't even want to open a sketchbook, afraid that I might ruin it and that other people won't like it. But when I watched this video, I began to realize that doing art is not all about making it perfect, it's all about making it unique and expressing yourself. Being yourself is a masterpiece and being unique is already perfect. Thanks a Lot😊😊😊

I find that when I'm just doodling, or not really caring about the final result, my drawings always turn out really good. But when i have a fixed idea for how i want my drawing to look, i always get frustrated with the details and end up erasing the whole thing ... I guess that shows you dont need to worry about imperfections! Don't think too much about the final result, just create whatever's on your mind!

I always think expressing myself 'loudly' is the best way to connect with others. But deeply inside I'm 'care' about how people see me and judge my piece. After watching you doodling and painting..It made me realised I used to be good in art and I stopped cuz I wanted to be perfect in creating it but end up losing it totally. After more than a decade, I started again... yesterday! It looked terrible but I feel relief that I'm doing it. You inpired me to do it for myself and not for everyone. I should continue...❤Thanks❤

This was so inspiring and definitely will help me to realise now, that even though I am a full on perfectionist, I will still make mistakes. I will spend time realising while doodling, painting in my sketch book that not everything has to be a masterpiece, because before I only wanted my work to be 100% up to my standard, or to me, perfect. Thank you so much for this video 💕
@havinsesen65674 жыл бұрын
So recently I’ve been struggling a lot with art. I’m a perfectionist, which means I take EXTREMELY long doing my art, so I always fall behind and my teacher gets mad and I lose all confidence and motivation to carry on. We just started our new project which is Architecture, which made me kind of excited. I wanted to become an architect in the future but then I realised that I need to be really good at art and drawing, but I’m not great at it, I’m just decent. So that kind of put me off of architecture but having Architecture as our project kind of gave me up until we started it. As always, I’m behind, we were meant to do our title page involving a mindmap about architecture, but I haven’t even started yet. My teacher always puts me off, reminding me every second that I’m behind as if I don’t already know that. I think the problem with me is I take very long to come up with an idea, and when I can’t come up with one quickly, I lose hope. I also care SO much about what people think of me, so that also makes sense why I want things to be perfect. Right now I’m thinking and thinking of ideas I can use for my title page (how I came across your video) and I still have nothing which is stressing me out even MORE. Sometimes I just want to give up and ask myself repeatedly why I picked art if I’m not good at it. Can someone please help me?

How did you got so much time to write this much??? 🤯😶😮🥴
@shainaevangeline60844 жыл бұрын
Hey I hope I'm not too late....caz i know how you feel.... been there, it's hard to come up with something when you are a perfectionist and that makes it even harder caz the best you do doesn't feel good enough (even when it is)...try thinking of it as practice makes progress and not perfect... progress would eventually lead you to the desired perfection....it wont be easy! As for the idea part(thats tricky) whenever you have an idea just try it out even if it does not turn out the way you want it later recreate it in however best way you can (caz you know what you liked and didn't like when you tried it at first). Hope this helps in some way
@peril.3 жыл бұрын
I have this issue too. I’m a HUUUUGE perfectionist, meaning any minor inconvenience that just so happens to strike my path?? Life = Ruined. That goes for anything and everything, all of the time. My solution to these problems is that I’m always good at doing things last minute and procrastinating them till the deadline. I either work great or crap under pressure, but it’s usually good enough for a good result.

this is my favourite channel of art ever! So inspirational😭😭 i very love it when u say that we do art for ourselves and no need to show others because i have this one friend , she also love art and does fill her sketchbook with painting that just a mixing of color of purple n light pink that could amaze all of my classmates even my teacher , she brought her sketchbook to school everyday n i think she just want to show off what she did but i dont care . i said this because before her i also does bring my sketchbook to school but i didnt show it , i just take it out from my bag if im bored and there was no teacher in class , n then one day i realise it that i think i must be showing off the art that looks ordinary and stopped bringing my sketchbook to school . but i still love my art eventho my classmate compared this girl's art n mine n he said her art is more attractive than mine but i didnt care n just said whatever because i believe every single person have different mind and creativity to create an amazing art! thanks Makoccino! 💞🌸☺

I use my chalk pastels as watercolor
@lenah.1047 жыл бұрын
jadafirecutie how do you do this???
@chanelluci90297 жыл бұрын
I add water to them and gently swipe my painting tool across the top. When you gently swipe the top you get less pigment. When you apply more pressure, you get more pigment. Its all about water balance. The more water generally, less pigment = pastels. The less water mostly, more pigment = saturated colors.

I am literally sitting here with a stack of notebooks I got for 2018 for different areas of my life and they are all blank because they are so beautiful and I'm afraid to mess them up. I'm going to take your advice to heart and just start on them 💗 I would recommend for others that feel this way to get or set up a disc bound art journal though, I have no problem keeping that religiously because I can always take a sheet out easily or add different kinds of paper or change the order.

This video inspired me so much. I spend lots of time staring at someone's art and thinking "Mine has to look just like that." Then when mine doesnt turn out "perfect" I get frustrated and storm off to my bedroom. This video helped me remember that everyone's art is different and nobody's art is perfect. Another amazing video
