Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzbin.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

First, hangers- I use multiple types of hangers- they do not match but they function for each category of clothing - velvet for my blouses and tops with straps, blazers use jacket hangers ,no rod running across the bottom and wide “arms” to keep the shoulders structured ; heavy duty for our winter coats and jackets; pant hangers for our dress pants and jeans. T-shirts and sweaters are folded and in the dresser and chest of drawers along with underwear, bras, socks, sleepwear and more delicate items that need extra care. As for the amount of clothing- well, I have always had what is now popularly known as a capsule wardrobe- the clothes I have mix and match whether it’s dressy or casual, each item can be worn with anything in my closet, that also transferred to my shoes (I have 15 pairs that range from summer sandals to tennis shoes/sneakers to leather flats and 2 pair of winter items (dressy boots and LL Bean rubber boot mocs) and all those footwear will match anything I wear. I know not everyone keeps a capsule wardrobe, I learned this about 40 years ago when I married my career military husband and traveling light, so to speak, helped when we moved every 2 years. I don’t know about the rest of you, but my closet tends to be the dumping ground for “what do we do with this” items and at least monthly I have to go through those “had no home” items and try to figure out where to make a home for them. It’s a monthly drill for me to declutter m, repurpose or donate items, even if it’s just 1 or 2 things each month.

I didn't know about some of these bins so thank you! We've been slowly redoing/reorganizing all our closets! We put in the IKEA Boaxel system of shelves and bins (and we absolutely love it)! Now I need bins for the shelves to organize other items that are off season and that we don't access as much! Perfect timing for me!

I used to use alot of containers but I'm trying to get away from that in most cases. Sometimes I need lots of those for a particular room/group of things but otherwise I think they can make a space look just as cluttered as gobs of little things everywhere

tip for ppl: if u wanna know which clothes u wear or not, at the start of the year/month, have ur hangers face the way u usually wouldnt. and when u wear something, put it back in the way u usually put ur hangers. then at the end of the year/month, look at which ones are still facing the same way at the start, and u'll know which pieces of clothing u wear and dont wear!
