That's enough to give you 2 DDAs and a Doomstalker/2 LHD w/Destructors and still be lower points. Which reminds me I need to paint my DDAs

Yesss my big boy the Crabbostabbo. I had a T-Vault/Seraptek list that came in third at a RTT recently. Of course before the Tvault nerf, rip. It's very swingy but I love the crab. If it had the canoptek keyword it'd be way too strong, unfortunately. Always option 2 on weapon loadout tho. The blast profile isn't as beneficial in my experience, especially once you get tagged in melee and I have other stuff for those terminator targets like my DDA.

Love my big silly Seraptek. Sure, it isn't practical, sure it is way to many points, and yes any sane opponent will focus fire him down ASAP. But I love him anyway. Just puts a smile on my face to have him on the table.

I own a Construct and used it alot recently so im throwing in my two cents. Its really hard to put into words just how big it is. Hes slightly taller than a Medium Knight, so about the same height as a Large knight. But its also about as wide as two knights combined. If he didnt have crab legs to peak between buildings he wouldnt be able to fit anywhere. Because of how large he is you almost have to bring him in Hypercrypt if youre trying to take the game seriously. Unless your terrain layout is very generous hes just going to be shooting the whole game. Which leads me to my second point. Im convinced the Singularity Generators are better than the Projectors. Its swingy so its not as Consistent in the amount of hits you make, but because of those Dev Wounds you are very consistently dealing damage instead which is very nice. Even if you end up wounding on 5's, that just means that half of the wounds you make are guaranteed. Whereas the Projectors will whiff on your hit roll because of the lack of shots, cover and/or Armor of Contempt abilities shave down the AP by quite alot, and dont get me started on the Invulns. This all applies to the Generators as well, granted. But youre usually getting more chances to punch through and again, the Dev Wounds make a very big difference.

As mentioned in the vid, I kinda like those weapons too. Against the grain but dev wounds is nice in this situation

@@Planet40K I'm not contradicting you on the generators I'm just reinforcing the statement. I get a lot of people on Reddit who say that they don't like it because it lacks consistency. Which is true but like, even though the strength and damage difference is not the same you're effectively always getting more shots from the generators than the Projectors. The most unlucky of rolls will still be 4 which is the same number of shots but realistically that's very unlikely.

I adore the Seraptek. It's such a cool design, and honestly? She does WORK. I think she's within 30-40 points of being competitive, and I've had her take out 800 points of orks by herself. The biggest problem is that the model is so massive it's hard to maneuver through tournament terrain

3:00 it should have the destroyer cult keyword if anything.

I think it should have the canoptek keyword, but that would likely add 150 points and remove it from other detachments. Reasons: It's a construct, just like wraiths, tomb stalkers, doomstalkers etc. It's also sentient (or programmed, if you prefer) unlike other necron weapons of war- doomsday arks, annihilation barges etc.

I thought you mentioned the Awakened Dynasty enhancement that gives plus 1 to the hit roll of a nearby unit, and you said that that would count as the seraptek being lead for stratagem effects? It doesn’t seem to say that so I just wanted to know how you would know it works that way! I have two Serapteks and am about to finally use one for the first time.

I gotta get this model! :) P.S. Protocol of the conquering tyrant reeuires a character to LEAD the unit in order to provide re-rolls to hit. Phantasmal subjugator no longer pouts units in its aura as being led.

conquering tyrant doesnt rely on a character, thats just for full rerolls, i only need to reroll 1's becuase the enhancement from the hexmark will already give the +1 to hit for 2s
