Regarding the GTAIV segment; Trophies were added post release on the PS3 version, so people who had already done the missions would have to restart the game to get the trophies they missed.

Also just putting it out there on 360 up to 4 people can be logged in saying all have played the game but only one player has the achievements. And admittedly I am one of the people without it because I was logged in when my brother was playing.

The main problem with trophy statistics is that all the people who have purchased games multiple times on different accounts count towards trophy percentages also if you are playing a game and have other accounts logged in it counts every single other account as having started up the game so they get added as well.

I wanted to love this game. Every time I play it there are some issues that completely take me out of the experience. For example, the way the characters faces look when they're speaking. The whole find X amount of items to craft something just got old. The climbing sucks because Breath of the Wild thoroughly ruined it for me. HZD is still fun just needs a few more tweaks, maybe in the sequel?

Fun fact: when I first played through Heavy Rain, I missed the Happy Birthday trophy as well. According to some research I did, it was somewhat glitched at one point, and that if you didn’t do every action EXACTLY as the game wants you to do, then you wouldn’t get it. Glitches are bitches.

Thanks for your genuine kindness Jules. So glad to have found this channel. I've been wondering, how about naming top 10 sidequests which are worth doing in videogames. IE: The Anju and Kafei side quest in Majora's Mask, which, although long, it is actually worth doing to see an interesting story, challenge you in many different ways (stealth, puzzle solving, etc.) and nets you some really nice rewards. Plus it gets you a step closer to the powerful Fierce Deity Mask.

Thing is with skyrim there are two things to consider 1) a lot of the time, unless you need to go to the college for the main quest or dlc or are specifically interested in magic, you'll never go to winterhold making joining the college a big detour from whatever you're doing. 2) with the rerelease of skyrim on newer consoles they added mods, mods that disable achievements on a save file.

@@subman23 don't get me wrong here if the gameplay is solid and fun, and is able to keep me engaged without delving into a story to explain the world, then I'll dip into the online, but typically a story or campaign or arcade mode is where I'll decide whether I like the gameplay enough to keep playing, if the game doesn't even have that mode to act as an introduction to the rest of the experience, then that tells me the experience is not worth it.

Hey Jules, not sure if anyone else noted this, but the "Happy Birthday" trophy in Heavy Rain is probably not rightfully so on this list. Your numbers are most certainly right (didn't look into that) but this trophy is reportedly the most bugged one in the game. It also includes specific tasks to complete in the chapter not just finishing it. As for me, I played this game and loved it, but didn't get the trophy even though I fulfilled all requirements on my first playthrough. Actually had to redo this chapter 3x after finishing to get this one. hope you guys have a lovely day!

The Happy Birthday trophy in Heavy Rain ISN'T for completing the first chapter. You unlock it by completing Ethan's architecture sketch, setting the table without breaking anything and playing with his two sons in the garden. Most people don't have it because they don't go into Ethan's office to finish the sketch.

My mind was blown when this one kid didn't have the achievement you get in Chromehounds for just watching the opening cinematic that plays when you launch the game. It's only a couple minutes, and it's big ass mechs battling each other. All you have to do is watch the badass sequence. That's it. You don't even have to touch the controller after popping in the disk... yet people are so impatient they just skip a badass cut scene. Don't get me wrong, I would skip it pretty much every time after seeing it the first time, but how could you not watch it even once?! Some games like Space Engineers I love, and some of the achievements will actually unlock things for you, like the Veteran Mk. II suit in Space Engineers. According to Steam, 0.3% of players have the suit, as it's tied to an achievement almost no one has gotten. Kinda funny as it always turns heads when they see the suit. It's also technically an easy to get achievement, as you can access admin tools in the scenario and basically cheat your way to the end in about a minute or two. Of course, if you do that, you deny yourself some exceptional learning experience that will take your designs to the next level if you do the scenario legit.

As he was kinda implying that you get it automatically for finishing the chapter it seems that he got it mixed up with Interactive Drama which is the one you get for finishing the first chapter, whereas Happy Birthday has set specific requirements in the first chapter and if one is missed you miss it.

Ok this all depends on what console you are playing on and if you are like me and use mods achievements are disabled on Xbox and ps4 I think you can still get the achievements on pc if you use mods. I honestly don't play skyrim or a fallout game without mods so on the Xbox I have a lot of game play hours on fallout 4 and skyrim but 0 achievements on both

@@trublacking8572 I mean at least achievements on Xbox Live have a Score attached to them(based on difficulty usually) that goes to an overall "gamerscore", so you can say you have 12345 gamerscore. It's easier to compare a total gamerscore than it is to compare Gold/Silver/Bronze Trophies. Oh, I have X Gold, Y Bronze Z Silver, I wonder how my friend compares. Then again Steam doesn't have a value OR a G/S/B scheme, so I guess all achievements on Steam are the same, at least the "Rare" one's now have that golden glow around them.

The achievement for The Lego Movie Video Game is surprising, I didn't even know that players rarely actually achieved this one, I unlocked it by accident due to playing too many Lego Games and relying on the game to tell me what to build. The things you don't know, right?

At first I thought it sounded weird that Telltale was making games for an increasingly shrinking playerbase when the demand wasn't strong enough to continue a franchise. Then I realized that TV shows do the same. Chugging on until the ratings drop so low they're officially cancelled.

There are times I've gone to winter hold and was unable to join the college at that time. (Ended up trying to break in, and having fun adventures once)

What about Terraria: Timber! Cut a tree Like 20-30 percent of people didnt even do this, while its the first thing you do when you start a new world.

I think I haven't got the 'joining the college of Winterhold' acheivement either. But I can tell you why. Skyrim is a game with many, many, many mods available. Most of us players already installed mods before we left Helgen. Some of us ignored the main quest for ages. Mods and console commands often disable acheivements. There are mods though that re-enable them. But I don't use that, yet. We joined the college of Winterhold, sometimes without using any magic at all, but with mods enabled. However, we sacrificed the acheivement.

One video I've always wanted to see is: 10 video games with most disturbing collectibles. Best examples I can think of are the Keller family holotapes from fallout 3 or the serial killers notes from far cry 3.
