My mind has been totally blown....What a job to have, to invent such brilliant and supremely useful tools such as these are! This is indicative of ( and deserving of my utmost respect) the high level of detail, understanding and dedication I know the Japanese hold so highly in their society.This is so honorable and evidence of the quality and innovative standards that carry through all aspect of their culture.I am in awe of that level of excellence , even more so now ,since these products are of basically a "non essential " nature but serve to solve problem to a specific niche needs I have encountered in the past personally.Its.It is amazing to see a products that specifically apply and serve what one might have need for so easily! Wow!

@kimberlypatton9634
@kimberlypatton9634 4 жыл бұрын
I see these as the total opposite of impractical! The inventors of each of the individual items must have had an individual problem that needed a creative solution that needed inventing at one time or another and we are all humanly alike on that level. We all run into the same problems sometimes and this is why they are so amazing to us!

I actually own a bunch of cool stationery that I bought from Japan and a lot of them are super useful. Especially this sharpener that I bought from daiso, so the sharpener need to be attached with a bottle. Why? Cuz we can sharp it until it’s filled up and there a lot of space. You don’t have to get up from your place every time the sharpener container is full. Plus, it’s a sharpener with a cute bear holding a biscuit that cover the dust from coming out.

When I went to Japan, I was impressed enough by the white acrylic erasers. I'm actually a bit overwhelmed by this. Let's make an eraser that's almost ALL corners! Let's make an eraser with holes so that it gets better as it wears down! [insert dated reference from (the almost as old as JetPens) "300" here]

I was surprised not to see my favorite eraser from Japan, the incomparable Tree's Air-in Plus eraser (ER-060AI -- I include the maker's number as I believe the "Tree's" part of the name may have been changed). It is the easiest on paper surface -- even fine washi -- and the cleanest erasing. It can even pick off graphite after the paper has had a light wash of watercolour (and has dried thoroughly, of course!) I keep one in my sketching tote, on the desk in my studio, and a spare in my pencil case (Nakabayashi Fix-In, thanks to you JetPens.)
