3000+ hour veteran here, and even though I didn't learn anything from the video I applaud you for giving good solid advice to new players, especially questions 3, 4 and 6. I still see people state, "I am going to make 50,000 iron rods per minute" then complain when they find out they just spent 50 hours making what is essentially cheap junk when they could have been making higher tier stuff, or items that actually have a use later in the life of their factory. I always tell people to plan ahead, and work backwards, use the build websites. If you are new build just enough of each tier's items to get you to the next tier then eventually to the top tier. Only then work on expanding what you really want to make, whether it is what I am doing, yes I am that madman you mentioned making 50 Thermal Propulsion Rockets per minute, or building a big nuclear power plant, or just enjoying what you have built and explore some more.

I Build everything by the sat calculator. There is no way I would be able to plan my factories without it.

I used to do it myself in excel, but at this point in the game, it gets a little much without using an online tool.

The thing i found the most useful was the production planner site, that was definitely something that slip under my radar big time, i put emphasis on this as i tried to get a plan for 10 assembly directors on satisfactory calculator and it just crashes ._. , however on this page it works wonders, is easy to read and understand (if maybe just a little more, "raw data") so it gets the job done and im very much excited to get to use it

That is a fun time in the game, when you realize you have to start branching out. I don’t mind the mega factory approach and I probably have a computer that can handle it, but I like spreading out

I think this is the key. I havnt even reached the final tear and im wondering what the fuck is the point. There are so many transportation options, but these are useless when you can do it on a tiny area scale.

That is A LOT of computers. It doesn’t matter as much where you build that because you probably have to use half the map!

@@fabiosanna6457 no prob. Copper alloy cuts the amount of copper needed by half. Pure copper cuts it a little bit more, but refineries take way more power and are more annoying to set up

You can load your save to Satisfactory calculator and you will see exactly where your factory is

@@DrLootCrate No, You didn't, but I just noticed that you don't show your factory when using interactive map. Just a tip for anyone else. You can also edit contents of containers (kinda cheating 😉) Factory Must Grow!

@@Mervinion Good call! I should probably show that off in one of these videos. It is pretty interesting to look at. I have never deleted anything off of there, but I have this area where I built a ton of blueprints for videos and I really don’t want to have to deal with the crates and stuff.
