There's the original cut of Event Horizon which was heavily cut down because the hell and torture horror scenes were even more extreme than the final cut. There’s two things I hope are mentioned one day. 1) One I’ve said this before but that is Mr. Harvey’s original death scene in The Lovely Bones. After trying to lure his next victim but fails in the process, an icicle soon falls on his shoulder causing him to stumble backward before falling off the cliff and presumably dies off screen. Peter Jackson originally intended for the audience to know whether or not he’s alive. When it was screened to a test audience they wanted him to die more violently. So Jackson had to reshoot the ending just a few weeks before the movie came out. 2) Any scenes from the 210 minute cut of the 1983 horror movie The Keep. It’s said that it ran three and a half hours long. Before being cut to two hours initially and finally to 96 minutes. There was a lot of unfinished effects because the VFX supervisor died during post-production.

I'd say that the only thing about that scene being cut is that it was in poor taste in regards to Paul Newman's death. Having his character referenced in passing in the second film was the right way to go. Other than that, it's Pixar. They hardly ever shy away from on screen, traumatic deaths. Hell, two of their movies deal directly with death.

I sort of expected the pie-throwing scene from "Dr. Strangelove" to be on here but perhaps a future list...

Can you do a video on Some Found Media that was once lost that you covered on your channel? I mean i didnt even know the Subway Commercial was found until yesterday

What about the clip of the bully getting skinned from scary stories to tell in the dark they cut it and replaced it with him turning into a scarecrow because they thought the scene was closer to an R rather than a PG-13

The Wizard of Oz, the scarecrow dance is the only deleted scene that survives completely or remains fully intact. My favorite of the lost deleted scenes from The Wizard of Oz, one scene I wish had stayed in the film and it looks like it would have been awesome to see, is the Triumphal Return to Emerald City, which had a reprise of ding dong The witch is dead. Only a few seconds of footage of that scene survive in the trailer. It's mind-boggling that they would delete a parade and celebration scene to celebrate the defeat of the film's main villain, but yet they have a parade and celebration in munchkinland for a witch who is not the main villain of the film and whom we just barely see for a little bit, plus, Glinda said in her own words, that the witch of the West is far worse than her sister. Other lost scenes which are probably lost forever as well, are the jitterbug scene and Dorothy's emotional reprise of over the rainbow while locked up in the witch's castle.

Apparently the 1978 Lotr was originally supposed to end with a cliff hanger, of Gollum Sam and Frodo entering the black gate

I think a video on lost rap/hip-hop songs would be cool
