Nice to have the large teepee during the heavy rains Eddie. Also good to have the stove to dry things out. Beautiful day here, sunny and 38f, but rain and snow is just off to our west and heading our way. If we get the snow I hope to be out in the morning for a walk. Take care, Ossie

Totally love the trossachs and only a short drive from glasgow too. The big house on the loch is called blair house and used to be a nursing home at one time. My younger brother used to be a security guard in it when they closed it down and i used to go up sometimes and even then it was a fantastic house . Wish it was mine.....nice vid eddie.

When the rain stopped it was a spectacular place and it was nice to see you dry and warm when it was hammering down. Unsure who owned that house on the Loch but man what a view they have to wake up to every day. Real nice music to accompany the brilliant scene when the sun broke over the Loch - what a view! Teepee looked great mind and I sopped on one with my grandson about 5 years ago and he had a whale of a time. Cheers Alan

I got a Barefoot Tinde 4 Lavuu Teepee and I think it's the best money I ever spend for beeing outdoors.1 ,2 people in a 4 'er tent is pure luxus.Whit a Fieldbed,a chair and a table it's like home.But in a better area.I hope next year I can come again for a meetup.Like these days at Stincar Falls with Sinclair.Oh,I was one of the germans,maybe you can remember.Nice Vid,always a pleasure to see you out.I can bearly make 50 % of it here in Germany.I'm always a bit envious.Hope to see you soon.

That 8 - 10 man tipi is certainly luxurious for just 2 guys and gear. Did you have any issues with leaking at the seams or with condensation inside the tipi? I know running the stove will take care of condensation. I am considering getting a tipi for winter snow camping in my area of Canada.
@ScotsWildcamper7 жыл бұрын
We had no problems with the heavy rain or condensation , its idea for 4 i would say.It would be a great shelter in the snow !!
