The Ashla has always been part of star wars legends. She is the sister of Mortis. Also she is that owl that always follows ahsoka around, because she sacrificed her life energy for ahsoka on Mortis. If you dont know, the Bogan is the dark side, and the Bendu is the middle. If I remember correctly, the Bendu was featured in Star Wars rebels, but he is also the Father in the Mortis episodes in TCW. Technically, the Ashla IS ahsoka, at least since what happened on Mortis. And was I the only one that knew all 10 of these? 😂😂
@dekekun2 жыл бұрын
The owl is Morai, not Ashla.
@BactaYT2 жыл бұрын
@@dekekun To be clear Ashla is just an 'ancient' name for the force wielders on Mortis. So The Ashla is just another name for the daughter or sister or whatever else you want to call her. The owl/convor named Morai is just a manifestation or maybe alternate form of the daughter/ashla from mortis. The convor which ahsoka calls Morai follows her around because the Daughter transferred her life energy to ahsoka on Mortis. First things first, there is clearly some connection between the convor, ahsoka and the daughter, and there is some interesting evidence for a few different claims about the connection between these 3, but I believe the daughter/ashla *IS* Morai, specifically because in rebels ahsoka said "I owe her my life," referring to the events that happened on Mortis and confirming that Morai *is* the daughter, and the ashla. Mortis isnt really accessible to the rest of the galaxy, I'm not even sure if it's a planet. The species Convor comes from Mortis. So if you dont believe the own and the daughter were not always the same, how do you propose the owl got off of Mortis? And how did she get to the "world between worlds" in rebels? It's pretty clear that this isnt some normal owl, she clearly has at least deep connection to the force and to the daughter, if she is not literally the daughter in a different form. The force wielders on mortis arent exactly biological beings, and have some sort of influence on the future, and the events that happen *after* their "deaths" on mortis so it's definitely possible that the daughter *is* the owl even after her other physicals form died. The last thing I want to say is that the daughter only transferred part of her life energy to ahsoka, and the force wielders were very very powerful beings, so it's also possible that the daughter can still live in the physical galaxy with whatever remaining energy she has left, she just isnt powerful enough to appear in her full form which we see on mortis. This argument isnt really well organized but i've gotten all my thoughts and evidence down and im not feeling like spending time to put this together nicely.

Hey, former animator here! I know it’s semantics, but while saying the lightsaber fights are animated is in the most general term since the whole show is animated, using it in juxtaposition to motion-capture (Mocap) is confusing as motion capture is a type of animation. The term you could use instead is “hand-keyed”. This term is what animators use to say the animation was done by hand; meaning that every keyframe is created by the animators, which is more akin to drawn animation where artists needed to draw every frame, rather than a motion capture actor providing those key frames. Because even with Mocap animators still have to correct and adjust the Mocap data to match the style and exaggerate the movements! Either way, the animators of this show, and Rebels did surprisingly well given the time constraints.

I think Hamill's role as Darth Bane is equally as significant as Liam Neeson returning as Qui-Gon in his force ghost version. While Qui-Gon's return is significant as it explains how Obi-Wan came back to continue to train Luke, but Bane's appearance shows us how the Sith were able to hide from the Jedi fod so long and eventually control the entire galaxy and get their revenge.

I a finished the show recently, and I found it interesting (I had to convince myself to keep watching after season 1.) I thought it was a bit of an uneven series. You have these 2 to 4 episode arcs that allow you to learn about the origins of the force, the clone wars, or the relationships between key characters...and then you have 1 to 3 episodes about like Jar Jar Binks saving the day by falling everywhere, or C3PO helping Padmé organize a party...those aren't exactly as good lol.
