i have your exact hairtype except shorter, i'm excited for that layered vibe because the blunt cut doesn't always suit my face and layers don't suit my hair^^ (i'm actually prefering flat iron for this late 90s look à la willow rosenberg because it allows me to have a more rectangular sleek shape, for that bouncy look, wet sets tend to hold longer)

I love the look but I wouldn’t recommend putting oil on your hair then straightening it, you are going to fry your hair and cause damage that way. I run the oil at the end after my hair has cooled. Hope it helps :)

I think I’m going to have to try out that revlon tool. I’m blow dryer challenged, I can never get it to look like my stylist does. I have my hair down to my belly button as well but my hair is really thick which make it heavy so it’s hard to get volume on top.
