Try this yummy peanut chutney recipe for your idli or dosa and I am sure you will fall in love with it. This is made in the traditional South Indian style and has a very good flavour. Do make this peanut chutney and let me know how it tasted in the comments below.

Ingredients for Peanut Chutney:
1 cup (150g) raw peanuts
1 onion (medium size) roughly chopped
2-3 tablespoons oil
4 dry red chillies
3-4 cloves garlic
1-inch tamarind
½ teaspoon cumin seeds/jeera
1 teaspoon urad daal
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
1 pinch asafetida/hing
Salt to taste
For tempering/tadka
2-3 tablespoons oil
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon urad daal
6-8 fresh curry leaves
1-2 dry red chillies
