Hi! Great info. Have a snappy all three sizes and yes, they're clogging constantly, after while spring gets weak and almost useless. Pretty expensive to buy new ones,so definitely gonna grab axminster. Thank you

Thank you. They really are a massive improvement on something really simple. I've had these most of this year, and the springs seem to be holding out well so far, no loss of "springyness" but obviously they've got a long while to go yet. Thanks again 👍

Also just subbed. Liking the content. Also making kitchens with "proper" wood. The dream!

Thanks very much, much appreciated. It was a cool project, and nice to do something different to the usual painted shaker. Although I must admit sticking sheets of mdf through the panel saw is certainly quicker 😂😂. Thanks again. 👍👍

Thanks Jim, (and thanks for subscribing too). I'm really pleased to be here, been a hell of a long slog to get to this point, but it finally feels like I'm making some progress now. I'm completely flat out at the moment with a few looming deadlines, but hoping in February things won't be quite so rushed and will give me a chance to make some more videos of what I'm doing🤞🤞. Thanks again. Ben.

Thanks mate I’ll get a 2.5 and see how it fairs, to often I’ve bought lots of inferior “bits” from gina !! Nothing butt disappointment...ya gets wot ya pay for ,... Now back to the forest of TIG welders aaarrrggg 🥳😊

Yeah, I've done the same. I'm definitely of the opinion fewer better quality bits is the way to go now though. Generally a good 50% of the ones in a set never get used anyway, or end up as duplicates of something else you have. 🤷🏻♂️

I don't believe the pilots are interchangable, they rely of a friction fit in the collar to keep them centred so the size you buy is the size it is. I tend to use a 2.5mm the most, and to be honest could probably get away with that size alone for cabinet work, as it's about right for the bulk of cabinet hardware. Hope that helps.
