Prob had several miscarriages or so and other health issues and couldn’t come to tell her husband until she was certain, bc it did say they were trying for 10 years so he would’ve been devastated

looks like they had infertility treatment as they're pregnant with twins. many times they know they are "pregnant" but don't get their hopes up until a while later as they've probably gone through many miscarriages. this was his reaction to finding out they were boys and healthy at the scan

Child support goes off "highest possible income". If you used to have a job making 100k a year but lose it and can only find work making 50k a year or just simply can't find work the courts will still apply the payments expected for 100k a year. Not exactly sure how that particular man accumulated such a debt, but its not absurd.
