Came to say the same. Half these entries were hardly "disturbing", and a few you could hardly see from game footage. I mean they chose the silly egg boys in Dark Souls over anything in Bloodborne. And not ONE resident evil entry? I'm usually a fan of the triple jump top 10s, but this one screams last minute dollar store Halloween costume just before the party.

Erm… no Broodmother from Dragon Age Origins? Seriously? That was the most horrific thing I’d witnessed in any RPG I’ve played. My initial thought at that point was, “WTF?” 😱Quickly followed by, “Why the fuck did I come down here in the first place?” 😨😰😬

Surprised the Doppelganger from Tomb Raider 1/Anniversary isn't on this list. Hell, Natla's whole base of Atlantis and her machinations was body horror with how twisted the creatures and how fleshy the walls were with the heartbeats thumping every second you're in the level. For 1996, even without the Remasters, I do wonder how many kids had nightmares because of those levels.

I would give a mention to Prey (2006) because the sphere you fight in all game basically IS a meat moon! And some of the creatures you encounter are truly disgusting. The worst for me was the mutate, mixing overweight humans with alien reptile things, and Creature X, where you fight humans that have been welded into some other alien creature with machine guns for arms.
