I have all those protein foods in my pantry, refrigerator, or freezer except the sausage and your number one protein food. Instead I have spirulina. P.S. I make some pretty healthy smoothies.

Quality video. I love the fact that you haven't evaluated the protein sources solely based on the protein but also on other things like the nutrient density. Lysine is the most important amino acid for vegans too. Nice work mate!

Thank you. I would have appreciated it better if you compared the protein on the basis of 100g instead of differing quantities.

@smixterious64877 жыл бұрын
believe it or not, I went on their web you posted in a comment below, I'm really interested in them, but shipping price for Croatia is way to high, higher than price of protein, but i'm looking forward of purchasing thrm in the nearest future as possible

Personally I try to stay away from the processed meat substitutes. And tempeh is a far better option than tofu.

+WILD THINGS that's awesome!

Why us tempeh a better option?
@justinw1765 Жыл бұрын
The tempeh shown does not have probiotics. It is pasteurized before being packaged. Most people cook tempeh anyways. It's also debatable how much that mold culture is a probiotic or not, and if it survives the journey through the stomach.

What about lentils? Lentils are one of the top 5 best plant proteins for building muscle. They're way healthier and better than gardein fake meat
@faith540111 ай бұрын
Yes, yes, lentils, and some seeds are very high in proteins and much higher and healthier than meat. Meat is very Toxic!

Kale is definitely not 4g for one cup...
@VeganLiveFit7 жыл бұрын
depends on which kale and how its normally weighted in each cup. A more accurate macro would be in grams
@GospelofTruth123 Жыл бұрын
Hemp hearts then quinoa then tofu. That’s the real order. You have plant based meats ahead of true complete proteins lol
@faith540111 ай бұрын
Yes indeed. MEAT is very TOXIC in human's blood!

Gardein is gross, and has either concentrated soy protein or gluten, both of which are problematical for many people, including myself. And peanuts/peanut products tend to have a high mold mycotoxin content, which again is problematical for many people. Honestly, this list could be a lot better, though some of the things listed are good (like hemp seeds), and kale for protein? Kale is a great, nutritious food, but it is not particularly high in protein.
@bunnyman6321 Жыл бұрын
What's wrong with concentrates soy or gluten?
@spartanshred Жыл бұрын
Agreed regarding the processed meat substitutes. To avoid the mycotoxins make sure to get Valencia peanut butter.
