Scottish football taking the setanta sports deal instead of the sky sports one ruined Scottish football to the core. They could be getting money rivalling a top 5 league club today and instead the whole league gets 4 million quid to split between them all because it was their only option. Up until the early 2000s rangers amd.Celtic were paying players (moreso rangers) upwards of 30k a week. The highest earner now will be making 20k a week 15 20 years later and rarely do either old firm club spend more than 10 million on a player. Not so long ago the England captain and goalkeeper along with world cup and champions league winners were playing in Scotland. Now rangers and Celtic rely on snapping up yoing.talent looking to put themselves in the shop window for a premiership side to get a quick bargain.
