Regarding #1 -Hogan wasn't turned face by McMahon. Hogan had left the WWF for the American Wrestling Association (AWA) a few years earlier. They are the ones that turned Hogan face, let him appear in ROCKY III, and got him I Dr with the crowds. All McMahon did was offer Hogan more money & snatched him away from the AWA before making Hogan champ.

I disagree with a lot of this list because historic, to me, means it holds up with what happened afterwards. I don't think the Ultimate Warriors win or Kofis(yet) meet that requirement. Great list especially the inclusion of Mankind and Flair's Rumble wins. One win I'd like to see is Bret Hart's first win vs. Flair. Took place at a house show in Canada and to have Hart, at the time who was not considered WC material yet by the public nor a Vince behemoth/cartoon type, win the title was revolutionary. Although, the crappy era of job related gimmicks started then (Dumpster Droese, Goon, etc...) Hart was the antithesis of that paradigm. That win changed paved the way for smaller, underdog, more regular type of guys to take the spotlight which continues to today (Michaels, Punk, Bryan, Kingston, etc...).
