Actually the AC one is kinda relatable to me, i was learning World Art History at the University and the theme was ancient Egypt and Greek, at that moment i already played AC origins and just about to start odyssey, so for the rest of the semester it helped me to memorize the landmark, the building structure, the gods, king, historical myths, tomb, etc. So yeah this video game actually help the study for once.

No no no. This list is a total bullshit. Battlefield V should've been number one on this list. It's the most historically accurate compared to other World War 2 games. In the game, you have British soldier with Katana, female soldier with prosthetic arm, it's very accurate. The attention to detail is very incredible, these guys at EA and DICE really respect those who fought for their countries in World War 2.

Assassin’s Creed Origins actually has a whole Discovery Tour mode like the video mentions that most people don’t know about, where you can take tours through ancient Egypt, and you’re bombarded with historical knowledge and facts about ancient Egypt and the culture. It will tell you about everything from the architecture around you to the religious practices to the common daily activities and jobs of people and what they would wear and eat and everything. It’s pretty cool.

Deliverance is the most accurate game we’ve ever seen. Funny that seemed to get the most flack. I mean, you can go to almost anywhere in it that still exists, even hills and it matches 1:1. Maybe because they didn’t change history to make it politically correct? Yeah gave it three, but sounds like someone is holding a gun to your head while describing it. That’s silly. Watch the 1 hour video on just how much work the Dev team put into that. It’s easily as much if not more than any of the others let alone the ones that that you clearly put on here knowing they didn’t actually happen like Assassin’s Creed.

KCD is great, but its lack of popularity in the mainstream gaming field is the result of how specific the scope is of its intended audiences. I enjoyed it, so don't take this as me saying the game is terrible, but it's a very 'boring' game. The loading screens take forever, the combat is extremely complex, and combat gameplay is realistically balanced between the tedious daily goings-on of Renaissance-era life. It's a great game, but I'm not surprised it hasn't become mainstream.

Is This Rain? that’s all valid. Wasn’t my point at all. My point was historically speaking, it’s extremely accurate. As you make my point kinda. Because real life is pretty boring, lol. I mean the burning of the city, the people involved, the angles of hills match. They even had surveyors go surgery the whole land the game would take place in then had historians & geologists go over what changes may have happened and adjusted them to make it as close as possible. I definitely agree on why it didn’t go mainstream. I mean, you have to learn how to eat at the beginning of the game, lol. However this was about historical accuracy and I don’t think it gets much closer than this, especially on a list with Assassin’s Creed on here because they can’t disprove that there wasn’t a league of assassins fighting Templars during the Revolution, lol. I enjoy it. Try searching Warhorse studio’s YT channel and search to find the long videos where they show to what crazy extents they went to to make it accurate. Also, there are a ton of ppl, especially video game journos, who attacked it for not being more diverse. Or not having women as knights. In a game where they literally said they were trying to be 100% accurate as much as possible to the that part of history in Bohemia...which at that time would have been like the bionic woman on the front lines of WW2 whole claiming to be making an accurate WW2 game...not that I can think of a game where anyone would do that. Lol. Good points though for why it didn’t blow up as Id hoped it would because a company like that, one willing to put DLC the size of Witcher 3’s DLC & take their time needs those sales to perhaps make another type of game or even a similar one. Heck, I’d like to see them do alternate history with fantasy elements. The graphics (once patched) are top notch, the realism is top notch, & they do describe it essentially as a historic simulator through the eyes of a fictional, yet realistic protagonist. I remember having to actually buy excedrin migraine pills to make it through the initial sword training drills, so I definitely get you on that, lol.
@RevanJJ
@RevanJJ 4 жыл бұрын
Derek Layman Actually go look at the reviews that specifically said lack of diversity made it a bad game. There was a lot of made up controversy when it first came out and it was slammed by journos and the Twitter squads for not being pc. Easily googled. Or searched on YT. Facts. I actually did break down why the game was HISTORICALLY ACCURATE which is what this whole video was about. Plus focused on how he sounded when talking about it.

Loved LA Noire. I think the only thing I think it lacked was no beating the suspect in the interrogation room. Cops weren’t held so accountable for their interrogation tactics back then and I think that would have added a different dynamic. Beat them too much to loosen their lips, they’re not gonna answer or worse, they die and your case is blown. Also for a sequel, 1980’s Miami Vice-esque era. Busting crimes and rocking a Hawaiian shirt.

Kingdom come deliverance should be number 1 no question, every building and landscape was modelled from a real place in the Chech Republic, the game is set during a real conflict and includes many people who were royalty or leaders of some kind back in that time, all NPC's have a purpose in the world with jobs and social structures based off what it was like back in that time from beggars to clergyman and everything in between with detailed information that you can read about in the codex. The games does an amazing job of bringing you through the world of Bohemia during that time in history with fighting and armour only scratches the surface to what this immersive experience provides, learning to read because not many could, joining the monastery and becoming a monk, learning to swordfight and taking part in the tourney, being a town guard, being a Midevil detective, trying to hunt down blasphemers and so much more. This video doesn't do justice to how historical accurate this game is and offers a real challenge and compelling story. 100% recommend to any gamer looking for hours of enjoyment. I'd highly advice no trying to rush the game and maybe looking up tip's for beginners before starting the game because unlike any other game ever you aren't a master of combat after 2 mins of playing and you actually need to spend time learning things before going head first into combat so having a few pointers going into the game is a good idea I think
