Stephen A said nothing wrong in regards to the Ray Rice case. He just should’ve been less vague so that people didn’t take it the wrong way. Essentially all he said is that girls need to be careful, because although it is completely wrong to hit someone, people need to do everything they can to avoid those situations. This doesn’t make it the woman’s fault by any means, all he was trying to say was that there are men who will hurt women and not care, so engaging in a physical altercation with people like that would be ill advised. An example would be: if I were to grab a dude’s phone and smash it on the floor, he might beat the shit out of me, regardless of whether it’s legal or not. So even though he shouldn’t beat me up, it was not a wise decision to provoke him bc it put me in a dangerous position. Stephen A is pretty much telling girls to he careful because there are some sick men out there. On a side note, I do feel sorry for domestic violence victims worldwide, no one should have to deal with this sort of thing.
