I love watching "Scammers Payback". Him and a group of others from around the world, get on the phone with scammers, pretend to be old people and rather than the scammer getting money, these heroes go on the scammers PCs, and delete all of their list of potential victims files. They sometimes are able to call the victims before they're scammed. And, they pass a lot of the info to the feds.

We had one in our building six months ago who conned almost everyone in the building, including myself. Before she got put out six months ago, she stole an elderly woman's pain meds, and key fob, and once the landlord caught her on camera, she was forced to bring the fob, or go to jail, and told her next time she step foot on property again, she's going to jail.

Hello W.L., People who do these crimes are (IMHO) "given too soft sentences (needs to be much longer/harsher)" for what they've done. Therein's a problem with the system and those behind it: "Oh be kind, they'll learn and not do it again" attitudes! The "reform that's expected from the state" is what all law abiding people "do in their life by keeping some sort of work, not breaking laws, stealing from others, companies or govts."!! Jail or Prison must be "a place that you wouldn't ever want to go to once, let alone two or more times"!!! Some are just created "not quite right, those must be kept out of society (alive or not!)!! If ya can't do the time then don't do the crime! The "we're kiss, we won't get in that much trouble" is learned in schools today. Until you're a productive part of society, you've not EARNED "the right of privacy" for as a child the ONLY RIGHTS you're only guaranteed the right to have medical, be fed and not to be harmed physically, that's it (and NO right to privacy!)!!! The soft system (the "be kinders") are directly responsible for most, if not all of the juvenile offenders and their criminal futures! That's why we're in this trouble today: "When the Pledge of Allegiance and Prayers" were mandatory in schools, there were guns, drugs etc. "but there weren't such violence as today"!!! That's a FACT. The frontal cortex isn't fully developed until you reach 20-25yrs. of age. This area of the brain controls habituation, ethical conduct, caring of others etc.!!! It's those same "b.k.'s" who've for over 30yrs. have pointed the finger at others (blaming otherd, stating that something needs to be done, look how bad it is!)!! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 👍👍🙏🏻😇👊

My son was scammed by a caller who wanted to pay for advertising on vehicles in the area. The vehicles were to be cloaked with the advertising of a well-known product. He was told to send a "Walmart money gram" for the cloaking, and he would be sent a check to pay for the first month's advertising plus the $1,800 reimbursement for the vehicle cloaking. My son sent a Walmart money gram as instructed for $1,800 BUT he received a fake check in return. So he was scammed out of the $1,800. He was able to track his money gram to where it was cashed in another State. He notified that Walmart of the date and time the money gram was paid at that Walmart, but he was not offered any help. The scammer would have been on their security camera! I suspected since then that an employee(s) might have been involved.

One of the few good laws that NY has! That's a great law against crooks! If you want to deter crime, then do these things: hold them accountable for bank robberies, fraud crimes, thefts/home invasion robberies, and any income gained should be frozen to pay off what's owed to the victims! I think these people should get short sentences(so they can start paying), they should have an ankle bracelet that allows them to work off their debts/trace their whereabouts so that they are not conning somebody else, and any failure to attempt to keep a job or con anyone else would be violations of parole!

When I wasn’t able to con anymore the way I did and make same profits.. it was the worst day of my life .. becoming a con is making a deal with the devil… because it will be over( and u don’t think it will)… but when it is over… u really hit rock bottom… and u are at a point where suicide is the most logical option…. And if u don’t do it u will suffer living the rest of ur life without it… because it’s not just about the money
