Another myth is that it is only about strength, it's about technique too. Most beginners don't know that there are different kinds of pull ups and not all of them are good as a part of the muscle up.

@@ramjam-zv7mi The hollow body pull up (arched back) doesn't work well for the transition to the dip. That and pull ups not high enough are what I see the most with beginners.
