I’m so happy to know I’m not the only amigurumi librarian around these parts. 🤩I’ll definitely try to do more about the good, the bad, and the mediocre books I have. Lady, I have never heard of a person having that many amigurumi books! As long as they give u pleasure why not. I have too many cookboods, I enjoy sitting on the floor going through them. I love that glue, my only complaint is that it makes stringy webs like hot glue. I try to forgive its transgressions because otherwise it’s perfect. I hope you enjoy your goodies as much as me. ❤️

I really enjoyed your fun video. I love what I have seen of the Pica Pau books. I purchased them, and they will arrive next week. I can hardly wait to have them, and get started making Cosmo Snail. The books apparently have skill levels from beginner to advanced. At the beginning of the books, you can hold your phone up to the QC code, and magically see other crocheters’ creations. This is great, as I will get extra ideas about colour choices and how various yarn decisions create varying sized toys. Basically, what to do and not do, for myself. These will be my only Amigurumi books. I would also like to have “Lula and Her Amigurumi Friends” in my collection. Yes, please do a video on the books you do not recommend getting. That would be very helpful.

I was REALLY trying not to buy more books. I tried something that I heard about which is just putting the book in your cart and then waiting to actually buy it. Or putting it on your Amazon wishlist to think about it. Well....neither of those ideas really works. It just makes me want the book more and then all I can think about is the book languishing in my cart. Poor thing! Then guess what happens?? Loved your video and your humor. What a very good thing to help us feel good. 😻

Welcome to the world of yarn and pattern book addictions!! It’s glorious! ♥️ And I can definitely help you with getting the “good” books. I have several videos out about my faves. If you have a particular “like” let me know and I can give some specific books that are great in that realm. ☺️ Definitely check out the website amigurumi.com they put out some of the best books by some of the best designers. Also, check out the app amigurumi today, their patterns are mostly very beginner friendly. And lastly, check out the yarn manufacturers websites hobbii, yarnspirations, premiere, lovecrafts….they all have free patterns available ranging in all levels. I hope this helps some!
