Great video, Cindy! I get how you feel about eyes on food! Very creepy! I have a similar thing with pincushions. I have made two animal pincushions with faces and they have been really cute. But I end up giving them away because I can't use them because I feel bad for sticking pins into them! I would love to know how to stagger increases if you had the time to show us how to do it. The more skills I can learn the better!

It’s so good and yes, all the 19 crimes wines you can scan the pic to hear their crime. It’s so weird but neat all at once. I’m glad your daughter is helping to get you into these “unique/finer” things in life. 🤣😂 I’m betting we could have a very fun time wine-ing and crocheting together. That is one of my favorite stories of the eyes, but I have more. 👀🤣 I think you’re right to pass these books up. Nice but I just am not into this type of stuff. My ghost has shipped, and I know the blobs (which I had no intention of buying...but somehow needed as well 🤣🤣) arrived in Denmark as I had to pay import tax. Lol, your Knot Monster is cute, I've wanted to make the flip pattern that Skein Spider has of the Pokemon characters Ditto and Snorlax because I have adult children and their friends who love Pokemon. Do the back of the safety eyes poke through from one side to the other ??? I would also like to see how you stagger your stitches 💖 I had to laugh about your mom's eye, sorry mom, lol, I have 7 children total, step, birth and adopted, and my youngest 3 are special needs, and there are some things that happen around here that I'm like nope, you're going to have to get that yourselves, lol 😂

A kindred spirit!! Yes, you have to laugh, we laugh lots at the blindness and the unique world it creates. Because sometimes you gotta and it’s funny, dog gone it!! 🤣 I didn’t know about skein spiders reversibles. I just recently found her. I’ll have to check those out. And no, my backs didn’t poke through, I was curious about that too, but those particular eyes, have a very odd back that covers up the majority of the eye stem. That might be why, also the plush yarn. I think that thickness hides too. Also….bless you. 7….you’re a very good person. I have one step but she’s grown and on her own, my two and then my mom. I drink often. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🍷

Skein Spider has some really cute makes. I was curious about how the eyes would work in a reversible thank you for letting me know 💖 The kids just helped me harvest the last of the grapes, they want me to can them some grape juice with them and I'm like, mommy would really rather make some wine 😂😂😂

If you look in my playlists, I have a tutorial one, and the staggered rows is in there. I don’t have a trick for the slip stitch chain one other than to just skip it. But the staggered rows is what I do to space out my increases and decreases and to make circles in your pieces verses a hexagon. 😁♥️

I don’t have the Lauren books because I think the finished items would make perfect kid toys and I don’t have kids yet and neither do any of my friends. I will eventually buy them but for that reason I’m not in a rush to get them. Also I would love if you explained how you stagger your increases. I’ve heard a few other people mention that technique but I have no clue how it’s done.

I can definitely do that video for you. I just started doing it about a year ago, but it really makes a difference in the “look” of your pieces. Yea….these are wonderful books, but to me they are more market items or small kids toys. I like animals in clothes. There is just something about a pig in a tutu that makes me have all the feels. 😂🐷🤷🏻‍♀️

In one of your videos you said you color in some pink cheeks on some of your animals. It's a great idea. The yarns i use.. dont always come in the accent colors i need.. pink for the inside of a mouse's ear for example and So too your idea and colored white piece pink and it works and i also think it would give some variation of color in other works . Instead of a solid color . Maybe. Im going to experiment. Thanks

I hope it works out for you. It’s just so much easier to as shading to things and much easier to color match for sure. And since it’s waxy you can blend colors with your fingers pretty well. Good luck experimenting! 😁

If there’s an avocado 🥑 pattern and guacamole but no taco I would probably have had the same reaction 😂 Yea as I read the pattern last night and realized there’s no instructions on where to sew the “legs” for the rocket 🚀 ship it kind of made me hesitant to finish the piece.. but like I did most of it and it’s a gift so I have to finish.. but I am a bit nervous about the placement. I also like more guidance in my patterns.

Oh dear. 🥴☺️ Sometime when you're crocheting the wine glasses and aren't in a hurry, I wonder if PVC pipe would work in the stem of the glass to hold it upright better? Idk. Maybe glue it onto a cardboard base and then crochet around it? 🤷
