I have enjoyed seeing the different places, my dad’s side of the family were from all around there. The Faircloughs were from Tarleton and Morris’s from St Helen’s and Leigh. Some of the Fairclough marriages were in Rufford, but back in the 1700’s lol. I love those old bridges,you get some fabulous views of them. I enjoyed your interviews and listening to the people.

Your artwork is lovely Paul. My lovely mum could draw and paint but it skipped me 😂 I’m binge watching from the beginning. Loving the vlogs and I know Anthony appears later so he’s real 😅 I’ll also take this chance to say thank to him for helping keep our wonderful NHS alive during the most difficult time. My husband did so too and to this day I’m immensely proud of him and grateful to you all - it’s still no easier 🙏🏻🌈

We’ve just ‘binge’ watched all your vlogs here in Western Australia. Love the photography, love the art work and love the footage of your local area. In fact it used to be our local area before emigrating in 1979 ! Thank you 😎. On our last two visits back to the ‘homeland’ we have been fortunate to have been able to hire Narrowboats from Aqua Narrowboats on both occasions, cruising the cut for 4 weeks each time. We recorded both holidays for our kids to experience our time . The channel is called Narrowboat Misadventures. Is it still good fishing in Carr Mill ? Look forward to the next vlog.

Nice vlog and a lovely reflection on canal life during these mad, mad, times. Great to see your shell. I imagine you are both tremendously excited regards the next step of the process. You’ve got my blood racing now for when I get my NB. It will be interesting to see your interior layout style. I have an idea of some of the things I’m looking for, and even have a design plan, albeit just a few sketches. I’m looking to fitting it out, but still unsure whether to get a shell, or sort-of-cheat, and get a sailaway, but I do know I want a customised semi-trad stern, going slightly against convention. You never know, I might find a real bargain with a sturdy hull that I can re-design. Look forward to following your building process.

You're off to a good start with your blogs. We RVed in the states for 15 years and really enjoyed it. Different from narrowboating but similar dealing with substantially confined space (ours was 8x35 or about 280 sf) and we had a dog with us. Never went full time but did take some long trip see the US and some of Canada. Boise, Idaho
