I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, sometimes for 100 days. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it switch, xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, steam, epic, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, usually covering all maps from Island to Fjordur. And one day. ARK 2!

Something I like about the center is the verticality. Makes for some stunning base locations, which can sort of be hidden and well defended for PVP

tf u on about? he only showed PvE locations, none of these are good for PvP. lots of them u can raft raid, the cliff side ones u can drop from above on stegos without taking fall damage and nearly all of them have multiple entrances u need to defend. I was in his stream yesterday and he saw some fucking amazing PvP locations yet this is what he puts in the video? theirs no shot u just said he has pvp knowledge

Soooooo soooooo many good spots for bases of all kinds, as someone who never played the center much Ill be exploring every inch of this map! Very much looking forward to future adventures on this map from you and all of the other Arktubers I watch! I do wish they kept the darker tones on Half Burnt and Volcano Island but it all looks so beautiful!

Fave PvE build locations are the ruins. I snagged the ones that have the water access into them (47,58). Not the biggest spot, but with some creative building, you can get a nice area. Plus, having the direct water access that's deep enough for literally any water tame (even megachelon), it's very helpful for breeding. I foresee it being especially helpful for housing shastas.

@4:04 I was trying to show you the plateau juuust on the other side of the behemoth you put down. It’s between 4 redwoods one can use defensively, that bit of metal is like your personal access! There are 2 other access points to the plat, but easily defended, and there’s beavers just below.

Can’t build in the majority of underworld. Please bring attention to this so it gets fixed. Even the underwater cave you can build at the start but not in the cave. Majority of underworld has no collision to build on and there’s no spawns on offical

my favourite base spot is the big flat area with 2 easy to block entrances on the west end of volcano island you went to on stream last night, I've been coming up with great ideas for how to use the verticality to build epic bases Been thinking about dotting the cliffs with miniature houses to add detail and keep safe from the dangers of the ground below fun fact i discovered is that right nextdoor to that spot is a giga and charch spawn with plenty of room to build an advanced trap

Found a decent base location in the redwoods, 83.6 60.6, quite a flat plateau with 3 bridges to it that can be blocked off. Relatively large area too

The whole floating island seems to be bugged. Random spots where youll be dismounted from a Pt in invisible water and im talking high up not just on the ground. Also, past the few metal foundations you have behind the waterfall, no foundations can be placed up until the last few yards leading to the beginning of the ramp. I fell off my pt on one of those invisible water traps i mentiond and got absolutely gobbled by a megalo. 😢

Found a nice base, up in some ruins. Was building up nice then a moro rex spawned (no way he climbed up the small steps) and wrecked my tames. Super sad

And if you use it on Single Player I highly recommend the Prevent Hibernation mod or the Finder won't work properly and will only work with in a small radius of your character.

The game won't let me build in the underworld on the ground even with cave building on. BUT it let's me build in the pillars supporting the cave.. Anyone know if this is a bug or if that place has just always been unbuildable ?

​@@undercover1790 Ab is next, then Rag, followed by Extinction, and then Valguero. All of which (at least according to the roadmap from before Center got pushed to early June) are planned to come this year.

@emperortethysusdacertified8175 Extinction already got pushed back to 2025 because of Bob's tall tales. The release date for Abberations pack is Q4 2024. I'm pretty sure there's been a change in schedule, and if they keep releasing maps at a rate of 2 months per the next map, presumably Ragnarok, will come out sometime in August September

With a pure pve focus, it bothers me to hear anything about defending ._. Put 10 plant X down and have a phiomia, whatever dino it was that got the quality of life update collecting poop and dungbeatles, that's all, you don't need to defend anything ever, even if a random spawn happens behind the gate. Just refill the fertilizer every other day
