No problem! Oh wow, I did hear that the DEVS acknowledged that the map is abit broken in that respect, lots of areas that should be buildable but aren't, said that they will be patching it asap! So let's hope it gets fixed when that happens, such a nice spot :D

On ASE I'm in a treehouse right between the redwoods and the tundra/snow mountain area on the large land bridge, and it's perfect. Getting an elevator set up lets me get my creatures up when needed, it's safe from the wandering yutys and carnos, and wolves, and has pretty much every resource you can imagine super close by. It's tough to get there early game but I personally tamed a lowish level Bronto to trek there since not much bothers them, with some carno and raptor bodyguards. Of course you can also fly if you're looking for less adventure, hahaha. I was hanging out in location 12 early on, btw.

Haha Yeah that's a really nice spot to be fair, great strat to get there btw :D I must admit i've never really built with tree platforms all that much but I might be tempted with the Redwood biome on here :D

The bubble by skull island actually is a good PVE spot, for resources. You got your wood, thatch, fiber, stone, oil, metal and crystal. The other dome has pearls, but no metal, oil or crystal. Least they did on Evolved. Unsure about Ascended. Not to mention its roomy enough to build a nice home for yourself without issue or deleting the resource spawns. So yeah, most the resources you could want are in the south bubble/dome if they keep em the same as Evolved. And as another person said, the coolness factor of living in a bubble under the sea. Edit: Another nice base spot you forgot is the Ice Castle. Cause that place is GORGEOUS. And its not far from one of your other spots. That ledge at the end of the world waterfalls. A cave thing near that has the ice castle remember.

Yeah the bubbles are so cool! I must admit I could never bring myself to live down there though haha...I have checked em out a little, seems there's still a few resources in there! It is gorgeous and I didn't forget it btw, deliberately chose not to pick it because it has an artifact in it, would be surprised if you can build there in PVE tbh? XD

You could in Evolved at least. And its not like you couldnt build in there in a way to NOT block the artifact with how much space you have. For the ice castle. You should try the undersea life in a bubble one day. Its kinda fun. And you could even set it up to have tek underwater comparts right outside your bubbles too. Leading you safely to the surface, if you are that far. IE coming in from Island and Scorched.

Those are some beautiful locations for bases I’ll have to check some out once I get established but I’m having major issues playing the centers. It keeps lagging and frame rates dropping to the point I can’t even move or do anything (mostly around my campfire)

There is usually at the end of it because that is carno island, for me they never roam onto the south side of the bridge, usually just see Dilo's and Ichthyornis!

I was In SP but I had built there before on a PVE unofficial server. Some people have said it might be a bug because they can build in some areas down there but not in others, so hopefully it will get fixed! :(

It's a known issue with the map, some locations aren't buildable. According to the discord, there's a fix coming.

Haha to be fair alpha Raptor's can spawn almost anywhere on the map :(...I should really make 2 separate videos on release, a starter location and a best location like this one, a lot of the locations aren't the easiest to begin from XD...I think it's much more worth it though in the long run once defences are up and strong tames are in place!

@@BEYPlaysGames It's not about being useful. It's about being cool as shit to live underwater. Also, have gone around the sea floor yet? There's an absolute butt-ton of metal down there that can be harvested with a dunkly. I'm talking comparable to Aberration's blue zone levels of metal.
