First off, Maryland just got their state allocation of Heaven Hill bottled-in-bond single barrels, so if you're in the area and that sounds interesting to you, get out there. I personally am not interested in a full bottle and am also uninterested in the Old Fitzgerald BIBs. Hoping I'll be able to land a JD14, fingers crossed, prayers sent, incense burned and sacrifices made. I'm also on the lookout for the 10 year cask strength Knob Creek traveler exclusive. I wonder if Jim Beam will do a Bookers Reserves this year. 2024's was so good that it's going to be a tough act to follow. I'm also looking out for some craft whiskey special releases. - Sagamore has an upcoming distillery exclusive Pineau de Charentes finish that sounds great. They also have a 7 year cask strength that uses all their own juice. It's going to be another great year for Sagamore. - Corbin Cash has a 12 year double matured (new American oak and French oak) rye coming out that I am desperate to acquire on release. - J. Henry anniversary edition 2024 is being co-blended with Nancy Fraley and Joe Z. That is a blend of 6 and 10 year Wisconsin Whiskey. - Thirteenth Colony is releasing a Maple Spiral finished Bourbon that sounds intriguing. - I'm excited to see what Lost Lantern releases in 2025. I fell in love with batch 1 of their Far-Flung Bourbon and want to see them continue. - Neeley family is releasing an 8 year bottled-in-bond I am curious about

Saw the HH BIB hitting the shelves. I am intrigued to try one, but not enough to buy a whole bottle. I have a harder time trusting the distributor picks over groups and stores. But I want to try one. According to Breaking Bourbon, we will be getting another Reserve this year. That was probably the best Beam LE last year, so interested to see how the next release is. But I think they will need to cut back on the Bookers LEs, just too many between the 4 batches, plus Infinity, Little Book, and now the reserve. Can't wait for all the releases from Sagamore. If I ever get large enough, would be one of the first places I would love to do a pick. Never had any J Henry, Corbin Cask, or Lost Lantern, but both sound like bottles that would be nice to try. I have Neeley's first batch, and haven't gone back. Hopefully its gotten better. Cheers man, Thanks for the great comments!

They haven't announced it yet, but the the JD 10 and JD 12 were under $100, so should be affordable. Jack Daniel's always does a good job on their LE pricing

I'm think for these things like wt 101 8yr and that old Fitz 7yr will be priced in that 60$ mark. I think it's a soft spot for limited and higher end and cheaper standard shelfers.

It will be interesting to see how they price them. My hope is that the new aged stated WT 101 is just replacing the older WT 101 bottle, but it could very well be a higher priced product.

Agreed the the 2024 ECBPs were not spectacular but b524 was 130 proof. So they were not all "low proof"

I'm looking forward to the return of 8 year age stated Wild Turkey 101. It's been available for years as export, along with a 12 year. Can they make NCF Rare Breed bourbon available domestically too? I fail to understand why this can't be done?

Adding the rare beard non chill filtered to the domestic market would dominate the bourbon landscape. I love that bottle and if I could get it more often, it would be my go to sipper. Would easily beat bottles 3x its price

Never found a JD 10 or 12 in michigan 🤔, WT 101 is just so thin tasting to me anymore, not like it was 15-20 years ago, they need to step up the age? WT 70TH 8YR WAS AWESOME 👌 Cheers 🥃 👍💯

Finger crossed JD10 or JD12 will be easier to get this year with JD14 coming out. I agree about WT 101. The older bottles from 1990s were so creamy. I hope the increased age adds it back to the product. Cheers

That ECBP B batch last year was 130.6. Big proof on that one and some solid flavor! But I understand not wanting to spend the change with the lower age statement.

Probably pretty accurate, just wont be a single barrel product. I thought the WT 70th anniversary was comparable to a good Kentucky Spirit and that was also 8 years old.

Fair critic. I already have 8 other ECBPs at home, so difficult to justify buying another unless the stats are wow worthy. If I didn't have any ECBPS, I would have bought that batch. Cheers
