@@Sirharryflash82 ... not sticking up for Davis in this one, because it certainly wasnt his intention - but do you really think Allen has all those productive years in KC if he had gotten pounded in Oakland for those last few years? I think, ironically, Davis ended up prolonging Allen's career by a couple of years by being such an a-hole. Allen was still averaging 4+ yds/carry at 37 yrs old, I think in part because of the light load he carried because of Davis for those last 4-5 years in Oakland.

@@NickLandess While Allen had productive years with the Chiefs, they weren't PRIME productive years that were wasted and lost with the raiders. He probably missed out on having several thousand yard seasons with double digit touchdowns. Besides, the Chiefs rationed his carries to keep him fresh for the end of the season. What he lost with his time with the raiders he couldn't get back.

Gets traded to the Rams and he's all that. Yet, goes down during the game with a major injury. That legendary one handed catch went to his head and he hasn't though straight yet.

Keyshawn Johnson was an interesting case. The Keyshawn Johnson - Gruden beef was 100% on Keyshawn and everybody knows it. Keyshawn is the only diva reciever in NFL history that was allowed and privileged to behave as such but wasn't actually good. He got the preferential treatment and the benefit of the doubt of a star but was average. I feel no sympathy about him whatsoever. I can live with Terrell Owens being a dica cause he was an amazing player. Keyshawn was average at best. Grudens only fault there was for treating him too well.

I remember watching Ron Dayne and that’s not how I remember it. Dude was amazing at Wisconsin but was just too damn slow and didn’t have the grit of Bettis, who was built similar to him. He was used to playing against defenders (in college) who he was stronger than and when he got to the NFL and that wasn’t the case he couldn’t adjust his game. And his weight was a legit issue, he looked terrible at times. The images you showed were after he trimmed down.

Vince Young and Jeff Fisher when they were part of the Titans could easily make this list. Neither one could stand one another. HC Jeff Fisher didn't even want Young as his Quarterback. But it happened because the late Titans owner, Bud Adams, forced Fisher to take it. It was a marriage made in Hell.
