To be fair to Stafford, losing a top three receiver midway through the season can be a pretty big hit to your offense, and he got injured too not long after.

Stafford had it rough last year, injuries, no offensive line, no Kupp for the second half, and a lack of quality pass catchers outside of Kupp. The Rams paid him for a reason, he should be able to bounce back in a big way next season

The Rams’ injuries are a big reason the Seahawks went 9-8 instead of 4-13. The Seahawks are fools to Pay Geno like a top-12 QB. He’s not one. He just has a better O-Line than Russ had and Russ’s receivers. Plus, he has Shane Waldron.

The problem with Julio Jones these past two seasons has been that he isn’t the main wide receiver. I mean he was practically buried on the depth chart on both the Titans and Buccaneers.

He hasn't been healthy and often injured and ruled out, that's been his problem. He could have easily thrived as a WR2 behind AJ Brown in 2021, or Mike Evans in 2022.

@@bishopman2308 I agree. First year head coach, new team chemistry, horrible o-line, most players on IR but someone needs to a scapegoat on a 5-12 record. Russ could've played better but there's a lot of other factors that contributed to that record.

Why would Wentz need to play in the XFL for 60K? His bank account generates more interest than that. Give up your fantasy of thinking Wentz needs to play football to earn a living. Dude has been a starter for 7 years. CW is swimming in money. He really doesn't need to play back up---unless he's just surrounded by greedy agents. Long time starters, who play back up like Andy Dalton & Joe Flacco are just greedy. Give someone else a chance. Those guys don't need the money.

Matt Ryan had a bad season I mean 4-7-1 is far from his MVP season 7 years ago but his 4 wins were the colts only wins last year so you can’t say he was any worse than the other QBs the Colts put out there

The problem with the Colts is they don’t protect their quarterback! Everyone wants them to spend huge amounts of money to get a young quarterback but unless the spend the money to build the offense line AROUND him and insure he can be protected then they will just have a mess like Luck. That poor man had no chance at achieving anything. I come on how do you seriously break every single quarterback you have and to scramble to basically buy a throw away QB just to finish the season. I am sick of idiots who think I don’t know what I am talking about! Umm.. yeah you are clearly not watching the same team as I am because if you were you see NOT protecting the QB is STILL the Colts must common theme.

Denver needs a offensive line, a good RB and a good WR/TE. I saw alot of their games and most of the problems the offense had wasn't Wilson's fault. Edit: Wilson was sacked 55 times last year.

Absolutely. But I’ll tell you why he wasn’t listed: the other 10 guys on this list don’t have a great chance of bouncing back, but Russ does. Secondly, Russ is the second-highest paid player in the league. Even for the Walton-Penner Group, that contract won’t be easy to eat if Russ has only a solid but not stellar year. All he needs to do is be consistently solid and he will keep his job for another year. In 2024, he will need to light it up no matter what! Being “solid-to-good” will cut it for the Broncos this season, even if it won’t do much for Russ’s HoF credentials. He just needs to be solid-to-good for the Broncos to believe in him and become a playoff team in 2023. A 10-win season with Russ surpassing 3,500 yards and 30+ TDs with 65-69% Complete will be enough. Russ can do that in his sleep on 16 games. Russ’s need to torch the league is more about his own legacy than it is the team’s playoff prospects. He’s likely to bounce back huge anyway.

I guess just about any player could make this list with how competitive the NFL is, but Miami's QB Tua Tagovailoa is another top candidate. After two years of haphazard play the guy either needs to put up some solid play or exit stage door right, Miami has wallowed in mediocrity for too long to put up with a QB that can't seem to commit to the game.

Although I can understand appreciate and acknowledge Matthew Stafford's career from 2009-20 with the lions and 2021 winning his first ever super bowl championship the 1st round 1st overall pick in the 2009 nfl draft out of The university of Georgia I'm just incredibly happy and I'm sure he'll still be satisfied with the fact that he most certainly deserve and earned a championship ring with the Rams the lions is where he started but he wanted a fresh start in 2021 going to Los Angeles but the truth is he hasn't had a number one wide receiver since the hall of famer wide receiver Calvin Megatron Johnson in the Motor City but it's super sweet to understand that he did won the big one for his phenomenal wife and his lovely marvelous magnificently beautiful daughters to live in the moment playing in the confetti's but the bottom line is i want him to continue to live his life the way he will do if want's to keep playing this game that loves so much growing up Born and Raised in the state of Texas that Mr.Stafford was cause he's lives and breaths football or if he wants to take his time and let him decide on what he want's to do moving forward then i respectfully can accept that i wish him nothing but the absolute best to Jim and his excellent awesome family as well 🤟🏾👌🏾👍🏾🙌🏾
