Just went to your website, and noticed you do custom grills. Perfect!, I'll be ordering at least 3 of them soon

I’m getting ready to redo a case for a Rickenbacker 360 guitar and I just don’t see anything about cutting the instrument opening?

Maybe hinges's rivets also need washers, don't you think?

Anybody know if the amp is suppose to fit the EXACT sizing inside the foam or if there can be 1/4 inch space available from the sides?

I'll just buy one already made. it will cost me the same amount and noooo work to top it off. Sorry the parts are just as expensive to buy as buying a case already made.

Anthony Zeolla There is no implied cost savings to making your own cases homie, it's the idea of making it yourself for a custom project. Easy for me to say because I also make my own drums, guitars, basses and amplifiers so this is like a walk in the park for someone like that.

Anthony Zeolla You are absolutely right I did exactly that and I probably spent more building it myself anyway eventually that one wore out and I had to just buy a (used) ready-made rack case and it’s much better than what I did.

But I wonder, if you have to make a very specific size of case, that it would be cheaper to make your own rather than order a specific size? Probably cheaper to order for standard size cases, but maybe not for specific size cases.

Gonna wanna get some newspaper for this operation or else you're gonna end up putting your carpet face down in the overspray on the table top and that just plain sucks.

dude, you are missing some major steps and tips. your carpet is obviously not straight, and overhangs in the corner. no explanation of type of carpet (poly types that break down and leave tons of shedding in your gear). No mention of padded backer (behind a carpet). layup of the sides in a sequence is critical to cover the bottom seams. finishing the edge trim makes or breaks a good interior. ignoring the finishing steps makes for a horribly bad "DIY" hackjob. Sorry, but this isn't a professional resource.
