in that game 7 of 2010 the Celtics new he was gonna try to take over so they started triple-teaming him right from the beginning.. they forced him to take a bunch of impossible shots and it wasn't until the second half that he found out how to take advantage of that Celtics' strategy.. he had a great half in the second half even though his shot was still off he put 12 pts in the 4th qt of that game.. btw that Celtics team was one of the best defensive teams the league Has ever seen

Karam malefic Thank you somebody finally said it Kobe torched Boston all series. Then in Game 7 from tip-off everytime Kobe touched the ball Boston either trapped him, double teamed him, or triple teamed him the entire game.

And The who's guarding Kobe is Tony Allen one of the best defensive guard
@kd35beast247 жыл бұрын
These LeBron fans who keep bringing that up are such little hypocrites cuz they don't wanna talk about Kobe playing great defense, helping move the ball around, his clutch play in the 4th, or the amazing 15 rebounds, they just wanna trash on him for 6-22 shooting but then when they talk about LBJ in 2016 Finals game 7 they just bring up the good parts like the triple double and that block but they don't wanna talk about his terrible 8-22 shooting in that game

I don't understand people who have Jordan at 1 but Kobe not even top 5 they are damn near the same player
@unknowndriver66527 жыл бұрын
barrack ocommas they are similar cause kobe copied jordans moves but it doesnt mean kobe is as great player as jorda not even close.
@ronaldomendoza75787 жыл бұрын
Sergio Catalan "Kobe copied Jordan's move" so did every big man copy Kareem? you have to learn from legends or you won't get better, Kobes athletic ability was fading away so he had to make up his athleticism by making consistent skill.
@kodysanderson84167 жыл бұрын
barrack ocommas bruh how you gonna say Kobe not even close Kobe the 3rd highest scorer in league history over MJ and MJ had way more talent on his teams than Kobe did fuck Kobe won back to back rings with pau gasol as his number 2 and no number 3 worth mentioning. MJ had pippen rodman Horace grant and Steve Kerr. Pippen and rodman are regarded as two of the best defensive players ever and grant was an all star talent back then, not to mention Steve Kerr who was a lights out shooter. c'mon bro youre bugging if you say Kobe aint close to Jordan lobes the second best player of all time period.
@unknowndriver66527 жыл бұрын
Kody Sanderson you are lying kobe won his two championship with gasol (he did better final game than kobe) fisher,artes,bynum, odom and nash . that team is waaaaay better than pippen, steve kerr and horace grant .
@kevinflowers4637 жыл бұрын
They have the same playing style but doesn't mean they are close lol...MJ averages more ppg, apg, rpg, bpg, spg shoots 5% better from the field, has 8 more scoring titles, 4 more MVPs, 4 more finals MVP, 1 DPOY (kobe was never even in the conversation of getting DPOY), 3 steal titles to Kobe's 0 and the gap even larger in the playoffs/finals. AND MJ did all of that while playing significantly less time and sitting out some of his prime. Yeah youre right, "they are the same damn player" lol

Agent of Chaos First of all, the players you mentioned were all younger and entering primes with Phoenix. Stoudemire got injured but was an all-star after Nash. He averaged 25 points per game for NYK following season after Suns. Injuries marred remaining seasons. Marion was also a viable player and a champion after Nash Barbosa was an integral part of the champion Golden State Warriors Nash was a beneficiary of an open free flowing system. Nash was a great offensive player. Not a 2 x MVP. MVP's play some sort of defense.

Shaq never carried Kobe, the only reason Shaq had 3 finals MVP's is because they never faced any great center in the finals and the other teams top player is a guard and Kobe always had to guard them, Sixers,Pacers and Nets didn't have any answer for Shaq and the real challenge for Shaq was always the 2nd round and WCF where they would face big time teams in the West with legit bigmen and that is where Kobe always closed it out for L.A. Look what happened to Shaq when he faced Big Ben in 04 he was grounded.

Barry Ward So bill Russell is not the greatest of all time why? he has the biggest stat above everybody else who has played basketball. 10 titles with one team consecutive and 1 as coach. Give me a fucking break moron. Stats are just like a blonde girl pretty but inside they are dumbshits. The game is based on everything not just stats. Give lebron Shaq give lebron pau he wouldn't win nothing with those played absolutely nothing. a 20 year old lebron wouldn't take Shaq to the promise land Shaq already had one and his name was penny hardaway he was the closets thing to magic if it wasn't for his injuries after Shaq left. And he wouldn't win with pau either he would have great stats but that's because he is a stats sheets stuffer which they are a complete wash. He lacks one thing that would never go away well a couple a strong mental edge and being clutch his downfalls against kobe he was always physched out because kobe got in his head and always had his number 1 on 1 he never guarded lebron most of the time because kobe wasn't a 3 he was a 2. Kobe carried way more in his career then lebron ever did. haha and don't give me bullshit that big z was a bum and Larry Hughes as well. They were all stars they weren't as good as dwade, kyrie, love, bosh, ray Allen, and now kyle korver. For god sakes they traded for a vampire he just needs to call Jesus to help him out as well haha. Lebron stats come easy because he has no competition the NBA is soft. The east is pathetic has been since 2000 the last year the east was relevant was with the pacers and old Reggie miller boy. Kobe fought through the west the most dominating conference ever there were years were the last spot had 45+ wins to get in the playoffs so it was always a grind in the West. Plus kobe demanded more triple teams because along the way after he had Shaq he had no one he literally had no one he had to carry sorry teams I can go on and on. But why would I if I am talking to kids under 25 only watch a solid 1 good era of basketball haha. which I might add is the worst era of basketball. Oh here is one more stat actually two since you kids love stats so much 3-8 and oh yeah 2-1 against Tim Duncan yet he is still the best player to ever live hahaha people be watching to much ESPN or those dick suckers Chris brussard or that Colin cowherd. Lebron is a media hype and overrated stat sheet stuffer. Reason why a lot of legends of the NBA don't like him. Just the way he won his titles such a pussy move. Its not about stats kids not all of it its the big picture.

@@jeromebreezedale4592 but like I said. No one in the NBA draft was hyping Kobe that much. You seriously going to compare the hype of Kobes high school career to LeBron's high school career. Lebron was getting espn coverage for his games nationwide. LeBron is definetly the most hyped up bball prospect ever. People were talking about how he was going to be a franchise player immediately out of high school. The expectations of LeBron was literally to be the next GOAT. The fact that Curry can average 30 points, almost 7 assists, and over 5 rebounds for an ENTIRE season, and then be judged on how he performed over a 7 game span in which he was still injured makes me question what is wrong with the people in this community. The thing that made me the most mad was, I saw this one comment that said that Kyrie was always better than Curry ever was.

I hate comparing players from different era’s! But this is the only way to do it... G.O.A.T. S vs. B.O.A.T S MJ. Lebron (all around/gifted) Kareem. Mj (Best PER or +/-) Bill Kareem (unguardable) Kobe. Larry Bird (The Closer) Magic Duncan (Mr. Everything) Lebron (only 33) Kobe (most skilled ever) Tim Duncan. Magic (best PG ever) Larry Bird. Hakeem (Best skill center) Shaquille Oscar Robinson (triple dub) Hakeem/Wilt Wilt (Most Dominant) B.O.A.T.S = Best to ever play/All around player G.O.A.T.S= Greatest to ever play/A decade of Dominance Championships Look at my CRITERIA, I’m pretty consistent. MJ from 1990-2000 won 6 chips Kareem from 1980-1990 won 5 chips (6 total) Bill.. well we all know what he did (11 chips) Kobe From 2000-2010 won 5 chips (8 WFC) in the WEST Magic from 1980-1990 won 5 chips(played 9) That’s a decade of Dominating the NBA THATS GREATNESS But just because you’re a G.O.A.T. doesn’t mean you’re one of the BEST to ever play Bill Russell is the (my) 3rd G.O.A.T but he didn’t even make my BEST to ever play list! It’s the only way to Jude guys from different Era’s, and make room for the future! Guys like KD, Harden, Curry, Kawhi, Kyrie, etc.. WITH DIFFERENT ERA’S ITS ONLY RIGHT TO USE TWO CATEGORIES= Respect the player Any sports game or match is all about winning!
