Wow, your list is packed with absolute guitar legends! Criss Oliva at #1 is an epic and underrated pick. And having Chuck Schuldiner near the top shows major respect to the death metal pioneers. Awesome selection!

@@BackingTrackCenter Thanks. Criss is the reason I picked up the guitar. Chuck, IMHO, is the person who took the last MAJOR step in the evolution of the electric guitar world. Alexi took it to another different level. Who else can shred and sing silmutaneously? Even Chuck was blown away, when Children of Bodom realeased Something Wild. For these three of the above their career ended up tragically (R.I.P.). Edge Of Thorns, Sound Of Perseverance and any of the First three Children of Bodom albums must be in a guitarist's collection. Savatage, Death and C.O.B. don't have a single "bad" album, especially for the time of their respective releases I cannot imagine where they would have been if they didn't "leave us" so early.
